I have a new problem. My child’s Indian birth certificate is laminated and they are not willing to accept it. What can I do to sort it as this is for urgent passport and there is no way I can get a new one from India?

I am sorry I was probably not clear in my original message. I meant I applied for passport in the UK only but my child wasn’t born here.
Do I need Child’s birth certificate also for passport or will Indian passport be enough?

Urgent passport can’t be applied online.
Also do I need my and my wife’s Indian passport or just my child’s registration certificate and birth certificate with Indian passport are enough?

I got an exemption from using IELTS for my ILR as a medic. Now, when I am applying for citizenship, it says on the form I can’t use my old IELTS as it wasn’t used for ILR. Is this true, and are we being made to pay double for a stupid clause they added?

My biometrics was on 11/03/2022 so it’s been 7 working days today. I think there is a number you can call up to escalate and next option would be to contact the MP. I am wondering if there are many people with the same issues.

I am about to apply ILR for myself and my wife next month. My son who was born in UK 7 months ago doesn't have any visa. Do I need to provide any cover letter to home office to indicate I will apply for his citizenship after we get our ILR or is there no need for it?
