While on work permit you are supposed to work only for a particular employer you has sponsered your work permit.

Hi Skylineturf12, You can surely use online bank statements for your application; however, you would also need to get them attested and stamped by a personal banker from a local branch. This would be in accordance with policy guidelines (Page 25) Alternatively an electronic bank statement bearing th...

Hi Master_Blaster, If you may still have some time, you might also try to request the business card of the Barclays office who attested your statements. This would help make your case strong and would be very handy if home office may want to give a call for verification. Please note that this busine...

Hi uk.workpermit123,

Tier1 (& other visa categories) are still in place.

The new concept "Permission to Stay/to be" has only been proposed few days back. Plz refer to UKBA website for more details.

It would still take some time before it gets implemented.

Good to see caseworker showing some willingness to ask for specific evidence while application is being processed. In worst case, they might have simply rejected your application.

Welcome to the forum mate, Yes, your Tier2 visa will stand cancelled once you have your Tier1 stamped on your visa. You would not need any no-objection from your employer. Though, it may not be required to let your employer be aware of your tier1 application processing, it is still advisable to keep...
