There is space to add any extra information you would like to provide for example: 'married since 10 years but living in the US for the past 1 year due to work reasons.' it's up to you to add

Re: Main Applicant in India and Dependant in US

If you apply separately at the same time in US & India, not recommended in my opinion. It would not be linked to the main applicant is my guess.

Better to wait till the main applicant visa is approved. Beware dependent 's visa is taking a longer time.

Re: Main Applicant in India and Dependant in US

Yes, you can apply from US and the main applicant in India. In fact, you should apply from the place where you are a resident. Otherwise, you will have to suppress the fact that he is living in the US. At some point, if you have to reveal that he was in the US, then that might lead to negative decis...

Re: Visa Status Tracking, Complaints and Escalations

Its an exceptional situation. They have to prioritize Ukrainian refugee applications who are fleeing for their own safety. They are not able to scale up the number of case workers, I guess because a very high security clearance is required. I don't expect courts to intervene due to this situation. W...

Re: Super Priority Visa - Suggestions when a non-settlemet visa applicaton is delayed.

It is hard to say what exactly makes it complex.

It could be overstay during previous visit.
Stay in any hostile nation.
Something to do with nuclear energy
Criminal offence

You need to be patient, it could take 1-2 weeks.

Re: Tier 2 with autistic child

Speaking from General awareness, you are a tax payer, you have almost the same rights as a citizen, except voting rights and public funds. I don't think for a autistic child they would deny facilities on the ground that you are not a citizen. You can even contest that. If you are a resident, you can...

Re: Guidence on working after CoS expiry

Congrats Ram.. You can stay in the UK. I am not sure till what date you are allowed to work. Your employer must have informed UK Home office for compliance that you are not working after a certain date. Ask them as well. It would be very helpful to many of us, if you could post the timelines. Type o...

Re: Skilled worker visa extension Decision Pending

UK health care has one of the the best pre and post natal care. You really need to have strong reason that NHS can't provide so that the UK home office can allow your application to be maintained inspite of leaving CTA.

They do provide some leeway if there are mitigating circumstances.

Re: Skilled worker visa extension Decision Pending

It's not illegal but your application would have been admissible in normal circumstances. Since they are already running late and you are already within 3 month preapplication it would be admissible.

Re: Sponsor note on Defined CoS for new passport

Have you submitted your application?

It is better you get new CoS with correct passport details and your application also updated.

Application processing is faster if it is a straight through case.

Passport is also scanned

Re: Super Priority Visa - What is the point when the Sopra Steria appointment happens several days after

Home office starts looking at your application only when your biometrics are authenticated and photos to authenticate you are the same person. You could have used the app, then there was no need to go the centre. Once the decision is made, your right to work or live is already enabled digitally for ...

You need to reapply, since your current BRP is dependent on your spouse brp which is specific to the old CoS.

Re: How is an application automatically withdrawn when travelling outside the UK when application is still under progres

We have consulted an expert immigration lawyer and they have advised not to leave UK when your application is with the Home Office else it would be cancelled.

If you want to be 100% sure, hire a lawyer yourself and ask them to pinpoint the relevant section of immigration laws which apply.

Is the visa review process done in-house by your employer or by external para-legal experts?
Is its internal review then I would not give much weightage

Re: Separated status -Applying Senior or Specilaist work Visa from India

Your standalone application will not refused. I am not an expert at this. If you have got full custody,it should not create a problem but if the other parent has visitation rights then moving would create problem.

It is better to add your child's application to your application and you bear the cost of it. Standalone dependent application are not of immediate priority for the home office.

Re: I have a 10-year visitor’s visa. Would applying for Tier 2 cancel my Visitor’s visa?

Visa gives you permission to enter and not a right. There are many what if situations. Pandemic - visitor visas were suspended for many countries. You can't be a visitor and resident at the same time. You can apply for a visitor visa at the end of 5 years.
