All that could have been avoided if she got the permission to travel with Form N-470.

You might want to get in touch with an immigration lawyer.

Hi, I have an upcoming visa interview appointment in London consulate for a visitor visa. I have applied for myself, my wife and daughter (3 yr old). Re: Visitor visa after completion of 10 year ban

Today I received a refusal from UKVI. Refusal is un fair. Only reason of refusal is UKVI believes that I will not return back to my home country. They accept everything. No right of appeal and no administrative review. Please advise me what should I do? There's nothing you can do. Hence my previous...

She's not a prisoner in America, so she can travel at anytime. The only problem is that there are rules for travelling out of the US for over 180 days at a time. Her continous residence was broken when she left for that long. She should have applied in 2021. Breaks in Continuous Residence An applica...

Hello, I applied for my son's British citizenship by Mn1 Section 3.2 from abroad about 6 months ago and I sent in his original US passport. However now I received an automated email from UKVI saying that the application will not be processed in six months and gives no further information on how lon...

Nice 1 mate haha To add a little salt to injury i was gonna cancel my sons application on the 16th of September but fortunately it got accepted the day after on the 17th. 👍 Awes...

Thank you so much. You can do what you like, when you ...

Matter of urgency as I am confused on what to do. This forum helped my partner previously before he became British. Hear my case as I need support. I came to the UK as a student in sep 2014 and finished my programme 2018 with a degree, the same 2018 I had a British child and applied for parent rout...

Thanks ticktock, that's encouraging but I am still a little uncertain. :| 1. Will the e-gate know that we have an e-visa? We have used the e-gate for years now without a problem but now, the difference is that my BRP has expired. Firstly ILR is a status. Your BRP is just evidence of it. Same way yo...

Depending on what nationality she has, she might not even be able to leave her home country. Airlines might decline to board her, as they get fined for not doing their due diligence. Visa isn't active until start date! Visa issued doesn't mean it's valid yet. Schengen visas are a typical example of ...

Re: Applying skilled worker visa within UK vs outside UK

Basically, how risky is it as a dentist (health and care visa ) to apply from India where it will be a fresh visa application against doing it within uk , as I have valid student visa until Feb 2025. The only difference is that you get to stay in the UK and appeal if failed versus you appeal from o...

Re: Green card option for Autistic child born in UK

Thanks for the response. What happens to the autistic dependent child after 21? I'm assuming that by then the child should have been either a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. I guess the normal functioning of the child would be determined by how high on the spectrum s/he is. Children move...

Re: Mother Visit Visa Refusal

It's always on the balance of probabilities. At this point in time, the stats don't favour you unfortunately.

Not sure a PAP would help either, as the refusal seems justified and unbiased.

But if you feel aggrieved by this, then you can still go for a PAP. See where it leads, you might get lucky.

Re: Clarification on Child's Visa Status During Citizenship Application

citizenship applications are not immigration applications - if child's visa expires section 3c doesn't apply, so she won't have a valid immigration status. So we have to extend her visa firstly to let her go to school and then register her the citizenship? The school does not need to know the immig...

I did not go through the appeal process. Now, the 10-y...

Yes I have met her multiple times on multiple holidays in the past year. What do you suggest as an example of stronger ties to Kenya? At this point, not sure anything trumps your relationship. So that would be hard to prove. In the eyes of the ECO, she could come here and decide not to go back. Get...
