can someone help me? I am currently on PSW visa for last 1 year and 6 months and it's going to expire in next march'2010. I was on student visa for more than 3 and half years. So in total i am on lawful visa for more than 5 years in UK. Am i eligible for ILR?

you can go ahead.

as you are already on PSW, you should not go for sponsorship license or labour market test. you can straight away claim 30 points for being on PSW. no need to worry, you can easily claim required 50 points. see the points calculator on UKBA site. good luck.

go for transitional arrangement scheme. If you are under IGS for one year you will straight away get an extra one year under transitional arrangement scheme. In other word you can get an extra one year under IGS. check the official home office website. good luck.
