Hi, Yes you can book an appointment on 31st October if that is 28 days in advance. For ILR you need to complete 4 years and 11 months. Based on the info provided you should be fine. Your eligibility date is 28 days before 27th November. Your ILR will be due 28 days before 28 june 12.. But by then there wont be any ILR (as per current proposal).

Have you checked with UKBA? I know some one who was deported as he was working full time 3 months after completion of degree... but that was in 2007.. Unless there is any change in the laws for students (T4) recently i believe you are in breach. Just make sure you are careful on that matter. Thanks ...

Bit confused as a student on student visa (T4) how were you allowed to work full time from Nov 2009? as far as i know students can only work FT during holidays.. still 5 months? I have finished my MSc in last year Nov but I switched to PSW in April 2010. I was allowed to work full time after October...

Ideally it should not be an issue.. Just be prepared you might be asked about the same at the port of entry.... make sure you do your homework with some logical explainations.... "i.e recession , notice period etc." will it goona be any problem if someone not traveled to uk after his hsmp ...

You should be able to travel to UK on t1.. but i am not 100% sure on the questions you may be asked on the port of entry. Just wait for some senior members to reply... As far as i know another visa (business) can override your T1 status.. (Please correct if i am wrong as this used to be the case few...

it should not make a difference as long as these are signed and stamped. As per the guidelines both are acceptable.

Not sure about your offence but i myself got ILR with DR10 on my record... Also know some one with the same offence got it as well...
