Re: Children naturalization application

Does anyone know the steps after acknowledgement for applications for minors? I understand that there's no e-vetting, but does that mean the next communication after acknowledgement is for payment? If so, would the timeline be a bit shorter as a decision would occur when an adult applicant would sta...

Re: Children naturalization application

I second the RCCar request? Are there any simple timelines (application date -> acceptance) for form 9 applications? I am hoping that someone has some movement for the post-online application period. I realise that this is a bit optimistic, but I remain curious.

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

What with my wife? She applied with me July 2021, E-vetting disclosed July 2023, not approved yet Does she have chances for this ceremony? She mailed them about 5 times last month - no response. What you advise to do? 28 months already The timelines are tight, but theoretically possible. Ask throug...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Just an update, I’ve received new mail that states “ Citizenship Division has reviewed your submission and has forwarded your details to An Garda Siochana National Vetting Bureau (NVB), to start the E-Vetting process ” So it’s been exactly 3 months for the next email. Anyone from the May 23rd group...

We applied on the same day with the same documentation for everything except the IDs (although we do hold the same dual citizenship). I was not sent an invi...

Re: Citizenship By Naturalisation - Speed Up?

I applied along with my wife - both non-EU, 5-year residents - in January, 2022. As we've not received a request for e-vetting as of now and we're not expecting an end to the process any time soon. We're resigned to the 2-year wait (or longer).

Re: Children naturalization application

Regrettably, the current average processing time for naturalisation applications for minors is approximately 23 months. https://www.justice.ie/en/JELR/Pages/PQ-31-05-2022-615 I have a question about this long timeline for minors. I am a naturalised Irish citizen with a dependent child who was born ...
