Date of next increase in minimum income Spouse VIsa

Can anyone guess an estimated date of next increase in minimum income for Spouse Visa to £34,500 this year? Me and my wife can only apply as early as mid-October because we are waiting for our baby and going to do a dependant visa at the same time. I currently meet the threshold (above £29,000) but ...

Re: Is a child of a British (by naturalization) citizen a British citizen?

I had a legal consultation with an immigrational lawyer in the UK and he said that it would be easier for me in my situation to just apply for a dependant visa for my child and not to make British passport until my child arrives to the UK. Has anyoine heard of cases like this?

Change of jobs while meeting Spouse Visa financial requirements

I'm a British Citizen trying to bring my wife to the UK from the Philippines and she is pregnant currently. We really want to get her a spouse visa asap because scared that the threshold will be increased to £34,500 soon (date unknown (?). Plus if she gives birth there we will then need to wait for ...

Re: Is a child of a British (by naturalization) citizen a British citizen?

I don't think you can apply for your child's passport from the UK and get it delivered in the UK if child is abroad. Wife applies for child passport from abroad, and child's passport gets delivered to them. Yes, applications from abroad do take longer. The easiest solution (documents wise, I can't ...

Re: Is a child of a British (by naturalization) citizen a British citizen?

Does that mean I will have to deliver my child's passport to him/her when it is processed in order for my child to be able to cross the UK border? How will the airline accept to carry the child if no right as a BC is not shown? The child will have to be in possession of it to travel. Delivered to t...

Re: Is a child of a British (by naturalization) citizen a British citizen?

I'm a British citizen (naturalised). My wife is from the Philippines and she is currently there pregnant. It seems like she will likely be giving birth on Philippines soil. Will my child be automatically a British Citizen when he/she is born abroad? If yes/no, What steps will be necessary for me to...

Refugee - Part of Birth Certificate from my home country is missing

I have been naturalised as a British citizen and I just realized a part of my birth certificate is missing. It was like a single small piece of paper inside the hard case (the one part that states my citizenship in my country of birth). I do not know for sure but I suspect with a good probability th...

Right, so my answer is YES to declare? And will send them notes and copies if any. I got it thanks. Now, you also mentioned I should send them my Home Office Travel Documents too? I have in fact two of them one expired and one valid. Are they gonna return me those back once the passport is processed...

Re: Proof of living in the UK for refugee applicants

So my last stamp is in May 2016 and it is in my old Travel Document. I have not had any stamps afterwards for six years because I did not leave the UK anymore. And hence no stamps in my new Travel Document. So should I scan every page in my old and new Travel Documents and that will be it?

Re: Proof of living in the UK for refugee applicants

But the thing is I made my last trip in May 2016 and never left the UK after. That makes it full 6 years without travelling outside the UK. I have not mentioned any trips in the application. They only asked me if I made any trips in the last 5 years and I have not.
