For anyone who's applied for a CRBA for their children, do you know if you can book an appointment for that same child's first passport during the same visit to the US embassy, or do you need to book a separate appointment at another stage (does the CRBA cert take a while to be processed and sent)?
Breakthrough today - my passport was dispatched! But, there's not tracking number on the online tracker. All it says is "Dispatched: Your Passport Book was posted on 04/08/2022" Didn't they used to include the tracking number in the past? If you ask the passport chat, they should be able ...
Me too. Still waiting. Still no update from my end of things. How about you @Nerdanel? My application is still in the "Submitted" stage. I sent my declaration via registered post on the same day that I paid the fee and saw that their declaration section received it the next day. There's n...

Thanks in advance I would said that since they are sending certificates from people that send the payment and the declaration around mid April. Probably will be around 2 more weeks before they send invi...

I’m in the same boat. I got the approval on 26th April, paid the fee the same day. It still hasn’t been processed and it looks like it’s stuck in the “Submitted” tab on the INIS portal. It really feels like they are now prioritizing the applications that need to attend the ceremony. Hey @Nerdanel, ...

One question for the people that have received the naturalization certificate. Did you received by registered post? What I mean is if somebody has to be at home to receive it. Or they just put it into the mailbox. Hi! I haven't been naturalized yet but based on what they wrote above it looks like n...
Hi All In the letter for EUR 950 payment, they asked me to send the original Irish Travel Document(if applicable) by post. They didn't mention IRP/GNIB card in this section, mentioned only for scanned copies of IRP in the previous section. Does anyone know what is Original Irish travel document(ass...
Apologies in advance for being uninformed, but I just learned about this law too. Does anyone know what the purpose of this is from the State's perspective?
After initially applying for naturalisation in 2021 and largely feeling like a ship at sea, I've only just discovered this forum and feel a bit of comfort knowing that countless other people have been through the same set of experiences. I count myself lucky, because last week I received a brown en...

When providing supporting documentation for a first time passport (5yr non-eu naturalisation), do the letters from Social Protection or Revenue need to be dated within a certain timeframe (past 30 days, or something like that)?
