Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Hi thankyou. I will move to Manchester as i know two of my friends moved there 4 years ago and today they own there own property through mortgage and they have stable jobs, salary is far more than here. I am not blaming Ireland in this but these days in Ireland homelessness has become a norm, after ...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Me too april 2021 and no vetting. By the way guys after thinking twice i have decided to leave Ireland after living here for like 15 years. Next year if the minister decides my application or not i am leaving anyway. Main reason for this is cost of living, skyrocketing rents and almost 70 to 80 perc...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

True. Redirection doesn't always work, after paying for the services we still have to keep an eye at the old address. I heard theres an eviction ban for the next 6 months, i can only hope that i can stay at the same address and the minister gives me some sort of response on my April 2021 application...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Hi guys, hopefully someone can advice. I applied in april 2021, no vetting received yet. But now i have been served with an eviction notice and the owner requires the possession of the property within 28 days. What happens to my application? I dont even have a place where to go? I assume corresponde...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

hey, quick question regarding the timelines. I noticed many people around me who applied after my application (July 2021) started to get their e-vetting requests last month and this month, however I don't have any updates. Would you suggest anything else rather than just waiting (finding a solicito...

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

I don't think i will get in touch with them during 23 months as i know the response what i will get.

FOI will only confirm that the file is sitting doing nothing.

I didn't get any vetting, does that mean the case is not so straightforward for them ?

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

Good analysis, its not entirely correct i am afraid.

I applied in april 2021, no vetting received yet.
23 months response replied to my email which i wrote in the month of August.

Case is very straightforward.
5 years non eu stamp4.
Stamp4 valid for the next 10 years.
No convictions.

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

With the validity of irp. At the time of application i gave them an expired gnib but that expired card was still valid for a few months as the minister announced automatic extension. But yes we have to update the department with a valid irp card as i did. If you will not update than they will reques...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

And i think its just random. I applied in April 2021, acknowledgement was received after 1 week. Since then no correspondence from the department. No e vetting yet. A work colleague applied the same time as i did and his vetting was done few months ago. My case is very straightforward, 5 years non e...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

My application was received by Citizenship on 24/2/21. I emailed them the other day saying: "I am writing to you with regards to the above application which you received on 24/02/21. As it has been with you for over 12 months, I would greatly appreciate it if you could inform me of the status ...

Naturalisation and changes in circumstances

Hi i applied for naturalisation back in april 2021. No vetting received yet just an acknowledgement. I will be changing my jobs, do i need to update the department as i gave them a letter from my current employer? Also, one of the references have died, not sure what to do in this case ? I applied on...

Re: Stamp 4EUFAM Stamps for naturalisation

Stamps are counted from the date the permission letter is issued not the gnib or irp card.

So count the days from the dated letter.

Re: Eu3 and employment

EU3 is on the applicant's own merit. There is no longer a 'sponsor'. If for example the EU national leaves the country, the non-EU national can still live here without any restrictions. Neither the EU nor the non-EU national needs to exercise treaty rights once they obtain the permanent residence. ...

Eu3 and employment

Hi I think this question was answered by moderator @Obie but that was long time ago and i can't find the thread so i have decided to post this again. I have an EU3 permenent residence card valid for 10 years. Does the EU citizen still needs to be exercising their treaty rights? I mean is it still ma...

Re: Dublin IRP renew timeline please

Guys
Just as an FYI:

Passport expiry date doesn't really matter anymore, IRP cards are issued based on the permission letter.

My Passport was expiring in 2 years and they posted my IRP card which is valid for the next 10 years.
Also the card arrived shortly after the processed email, just 2 days.

Re: Dublin IRP renew timeline please

Yes they replied only after 6 weeks.
One would be very unlucky if no card received as they dont bother replying to every e-mail.

Best thing is to just keep writing them as you may know i was sitting for 9 weeks after the processed email and the card was taking way too long to arrive.

Re: Dublin IRP renew timeline please

Application date 6 may
Processed email 4 july

Card received today 8 July.

So as you can see it only took 3 days to get the card posted, if anyone waiting ages than keep on chasing them as they are too laid back.

Good luck everyone.

Re: Dublin IRP renew timeline please

I wouldn't be surprised to know IRP is taking longer than 2 weeks to arrive. Last year, after the approval e-mail my IRP card only arrived after 9 weeks and for this i had to write atleast 6 e-mails with NO CARD RECEIVED subject. I would say please keep chasing them as they are too laid back and wou...
