If you have your approval, try emailing customersupport@citizenship.cloud.gov.ie and asking your td to enquire on your behalf (give them your application number, pps, name, dob etc)

Is it confirmed that its just the single day on Tuesday 2nd October? (not a double day like they've done previously)

it only says the 2nd in the update, but it also states that invitations will be received by post, which is inaccurate.

Husband just received an email today around 2pm from citizenship confirming his payment (from the 15th) of 950 has been processed today. Hopefully that means he will be invited to the ceremony.

If you leave the state for more than 6 weeks in a year after applying for naturalisation, you need to inform the Citizenship team and explain the reason; otherwise you don’t need to inform them.
