Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

She got her invite yesterday for Oct 2nd. Spousal application sent Nov 2021. Got her approval 10/May/23.

If you have your approval, try emailing customersupport@citizenship.cloud.gov.ie and asking your td to enquire on your behalf (give them your application number, pps, name, dob etc)

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Is it confirmed that its just the single day on Tuesday 2nd October? (not a double day like they've done previously)

it only says the 2nd in the update, but it also states that invitations will be received by post, which is inaccurate.

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Hi everyone, I was expecting no more invitations but got mine this morning at 9.30 AM for ceremony on June 19th. It is very short notice and my guess is that maybe these ones are coming to fill for cancellations. Anyway I am very happy and I really hope you get one too soon even if it is only 5 day...

Husband just received an email today around 2pm from citizenship confirming his payment (from the 15th) of 950 has been processed today. Hopefully that means he will be invited to the ceremony.
can I ask when he got his approval/ paid?

Someone needs to email the Minister or their local TD's or get FOI to lift the lid on this scam!
Why don't you do that yourself first?
have you done it yet?

share the relevant emails and an appropriate email template for people to use.

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

Sorry for the simple question, but i just want to be 100% certain. When asked for the photos along with the e-vetting letter, they are asking for the physical photos to be sent along with the NVB1(a) form to "E-Vetting Team, Citizenship CMUB, Department of Justice, Rosanna Road, Tipperary Town,...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Thanks. Was it CMU 1 or 2? Does timeline changes if it's CMU1 OR CMU2? I've read before that "CMU1 deals with people who do not need an IRP card (and spouse of Irish citizens for expedited processing), and CMU2 deals with people who need an IRP card." but from assessment, spousal applicat...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Yea going to have to put one in this week I think

In case it helps someone reading this, I've read elsewhere that applications via marriage need both peoples permission to release the data in foi. (or both parents if for kids)

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Non-eu Wife applied Nov 2021 via marriage/spouse route even though she also had the 5 years working, feels like a mistake looking at the timeline. ..still awaiting e-vetting.

They state that up to 6 weeks away is fine.

I'm curious about beyond 6 weeks and what time frame that 6 weeks is calculated in.

Re: Are you allowed to travel abroad while you are waiting for your Irish citizenship approval?

I guess this is where anecdotal evidence comes in though right? If people have tried it and been burned, others can learn from their lessons. if people have notified them of longer travel and waited the X weeks/months for the reply, the rest of the community will benefit from hearing that. we know t...

Re: Are you allowed to travel abroad while you are waiting for your Irish citizenship approval?

I don’t understand what you want people to confirm here. The rules are black-and-white. If you leave the state for more than 6 weeks in a year after applying for naturalisation, you need to inform the Citizenship team and explain the reason; otherwise you don’t need to inform them. Simple as that. ...
