Re: Switching from Partner Visa to Tier 2 Visa

I think company will sponsor visa only when you 'need' a visa. Currently she has Partner visa until 2018 so HR is hesitant and do not want to sponsor when you already have a visa. Her preference is to bring forward the expiry date of her current visa however we do not know how that works. If you inf...

I have recently joined a company which can sponsor me Tier 2 visa and I want to switch to Tier2 as well because me and BF want to live separately now. The problem I have is that my employer will sponsor visa only if there are only...

Naturalization - for Dependent

Hello, Me and wife got ILR last year in Feb-14 and thinking to apply for naturalisation now. I have completed more than five years in this country but my wife has been here for only three years. My question is: As I am eligible for naturalization now, can my wife apply with me or she has to complete...

Re: ILR approved with this Checklist

From my experience and what other threads say on this forum, you do not need to provide any proof for absence less than 180 days. I left this section blank in SET (O) form. I did not tick anything in section 6.3 as well.

Re: ILR approved with this Checklist

Hi Guys, My apologies, I did NOT provide any cover letter with this application. Please ignore that from the list where I say cover letter explaining my absence. I thought of writing one but I did not get time. So no cover letter required for your holidays if less than 180. There is section in SET (...

Re: ILR Checklist - PEO March-2014

Jordon,

P60 is not required. Print-outs awarding you 10 points for english for your qualification is fine. I did the same.

I am not sure if you can apply online. I booked PEO appointment and paid upfront fee of around £2589 approximately for main and one dependent.

Re: ILR Checklist - PEO March-2014

Hi Guys,

ILR approved on Friday. I just provided the documents that I listed above. I did not provide any P60 or absence proof (leave less than 180 in 5 years) or any letter from HMRC.

Re: Tier 1 to ILR - Success (Croydon)

Jedi,

Nobody talks about Paysheet that is provided when you make an appointment online. Did you pay the whole fee upfront for your PEO appointment?

My appointment is on 7thMarch and I have paid (£2589 for main + 1 dependent) already in full. I hope I have paid the right fee :d

Re: ILR Checklist

Agree with Harish and Uday that neither SA or absent letter is required...

But I need to know, is P60 mandatory? I read few threads where it says P60 is not required.

Do we need to provide any letters from employers?

Please clarify, friends.

Re: Anyone got ILR with Print outs from PBS Calculator - KOL

Regarding, not getting letter from NARIC, there are many reasons, time being one of them. My questions is if 'Dependents' can use the same PBS Calculator or not. I know, what you have highlighted in pink is true for the main applicant but I wasn't sure if its same for the dependent or not. At many p...

Re: Anyone got ILR with Print outs from PBS Calculator - KOL

Thanks. But all the links that you have provided are giving wrong information. Nothing is required from NARIC if your degree awards you 10 points for English on UKBA calculator. Anyone got ILR with Print outs from PBS Calculator - KOL?

Hello, I understand that the main applicant can show the print-out of the online PBS calculator awarding you 10 points for English Requirements but I wanted to check if anyone has done the same for dependent as well? Me and my wife (dependent) are applying for ILR and considering to take the print-o...
