My two cents - when the dependant application is made from within UK, the main applicant has to send his original passport. The only case that I know of where a copy of the passport is acceptable is when the dependant is out of country and the main applicant is in UK. Source of information please? ...

I agree ... its better to supply proofs that corroborate each other rather than contradict. I think if you do want to have your social marriage on a different day - don't submit the marriage invitation card and supply other proofs like phone bills etc to prove your relationship.

As long as you are scoring 80 points or more and you can prove them, you will be granted the visa - it does not matter if the total is 100 or 200.

Remember to get each and every page of the entire statement signed and stamped. However, I have heard of some banks not willing to stamp such long statements as they have to compare each transaction in the printed statement with their own record. In case that happens, try asking them to print off th...

There is no rule when applying for extension except that you should be able to score the stated number of points.

You might have a problem with your ILR though and might have to apply for a second extension. Search this forum and you will find more information about this.

You can have monthly bank statements and one continuous one is not mandatory.

If your bank issues monthly stmts then you should have them already, why do you want to print them off the internet?

Now , with the changes to the points system. I do not make the Points if I were to Extend my Stay under the same Immigration Category, come 2012. The new rules are for the new entrants, when you extend your stay the extension will be based on the same criteria that you entered UK with. If you do no...

You can mail UKBA for confirm...

As far as my experience goes, it is not officially mentioned anywhere but the VFS guys suggest you submit it as an additional supporting document. I guess there is no harm in submitting proof of accommodation if you have one already in UK.
