Re: Indian passport surrender + renunciation of indian citizenship + OCI together, possible?

It would have been great if this was possible. Unfortunately you will require your surrender certificate at the time of applying for OCI. I tried to go for an OCI appointment but they sent me back saying they need the surrender certificate original for the OCI application. Yes renunciation receipt i...

This is shocking, I guess I've also got a few months more at least for getting the renunciation cert. I haven't got the surrender certificate either and it's been over approx 3 weeks
I guess we need to use visas to travel in the interim

Re: Referee form corrections query

Thanks, I was probably overthinking.. Anyway in the meantime I had reached out to the referee who will try to print the PDF, sign and scan it, and email it to me if possible. If they can't then I will just attach this.

Re: Referee form corrections query

Yes so there is a date field below the signature. The thing is that the referee lives a distance away, and I have very little time to go there during a working day to get another form filled. But if this correction on the form is a big issue and could cause a rejection, then I will try to get anothe...

Re: PBS Extension Visa -Delay

Thanks yes I wanted to try but there is no phone number or code which takes us to a person on the phone.
Any number you dial it is automated and just says goodbye and cuts the call.
What phone number and codes we need to dial for urgent issues?
