Re: No physical BRP (renewal) for ID check app?

I would like to confirm (as I mentioned on another thread) that BRPs are still being issued to ‘non-visa’ nationals- those that otherwisd need a visa for a short stay tourist visit. I received mine a couple of days after I posed this question. I gather others who had a decision way before me I under...

Happy to inform that we've received a decision on my wife's application today; exactly 61 working days from the date of submission. I think the Home Office is internally working against a 12-week clock.
Congratulations!

Re: EMPLOYER NOT FULFILLING PROMISES

Sounds strange that your employer spent thousands of pounds to sponsor someone from another country and then not even recoup that investment by giving you work? If you are not a medical practitioner it may not be as easy to be sponsored by the NHS. Best to expose the employer and perhaps complain to...

Re: How long post IHS top up being paid - Decision can be expected by

The issuance of a BRP depends on your citizenship. If you're a national of a country that enjoys visa-free access to the UK (short-term/tourist visits), you'll not be issued with a BRP as it is redundant. Your immigration status within the UK has been digitalised. However, if you're from a country ...

Re: BRP card not issued

Hi Everyone I recently switched from ICT visa to SW visa, in letter from home office, It was mentioned that for status I will need to view and prove immigration status online and No BRP card shall be issued. Does anybody have any issues in travel from India while returning back without BRP card? Re...

FYI: I am still awaiting for my BRP so probably there's some delay going on in getting it produced and delivered.
Did you contact them after 10 days as they say you should if not received in 10 days?

No physical BRP (renewal) for ID check app?

After a long wait I finally received my approval email for PBS dependent (spouse has ILR)- in country application. I used the immigration ID check app for biometrics submission (not physical appointment). The approval mail says I will receive a BRP. Further down it gives me a link to online immigrat...

Re: How long post IHS top up being paid - Decision can be expected by

Thanks for this tip. I used the Immigration ID check app and I am a little confused by the email received as it first says I will receive a BRP. Further down it says “ You can view and prove your immigration status online, via the ‘view and prove your immigration status’ service – https://www.gov.uk...

I too shall look into the formal complaint mechanism, however much or little good it may...

Re: How long post IHS top up being paid - Decision can be expected by

Yes, checked again and there was no reference to upload evidence, either on the Home Office mail, IHS confirmation, or in the screenshot of the IHS top up confirmation I took. It has a line saying ‘What happens next? : Your visa application will be processed’. Seems they are asking different things ...

Re: How long post IHS top up being paid - Decision can be expected by

The email asked to upload your evidence by logging in to your application, at least for my wife's application. Although that hasn't made any difference to getting a decision on her application, yet. That’s strange, mine didn’t request that, only mentioned that next steps would be that application w...

Nothing yet. On the assumption it takes 1 month after top up that would be December 1st. Had booked flight tickets on December 2nd (way back) but can no longer risk it so I’ll have to postpone or change.

Re: IHS Top up key has been cancelled

I have seen this question posted before but not sure there is an answer. Such a ridiculous state of affairs at UKVI. You may be better off cancelling your original applications and reapplying with the correct fees (only do this if your leave to stay has not already expired). The money will be refund...

Re: Dependents over 16

I don’t see why this should be a problem, or how it is any different to someone who is already on skilled worker visa in the UK bringing a dependent after a change in civil status several years down the line (which was the case for me). All you need is the relevent proofs. Timeline should not matter...

Re: ILR and Dependency Visa

As there is no clear guidance on the Home Office site the incorrect IHS payments seem to be a relatively common issue. In my case on the last day of the 8 week SLA earlier this week I got a request for an IHS top up for the value of 6 months as I’d used the wrong date (although someone else on this ...
