To rephrase I wanted advise regarding how to apply for ILR for my daughter who has been on dependent visa in UK for past 5 yrs. She coudnt apply with me for ILR, and now UKBA tells me ...

You will be able to get online appointments quite easily, your appointments will only start appearing online 6 wks in advance.
If you look between 4-6 pm from Monday 12/04 onwards you will find them.
Best of luck.
Best regards

Congrats for ILR Good point about counting of days. Each case worker is different and may use discretion. It does state in guidance available in this forum that ' travel days are to be exluded' from counting. My absences were 172, counting one travel day ,they would have been 20+, as I had made that...

Thanks F2K.I did check with them on the day and before as well, they said one can apply by post but no one mentioned that the category and form will change! They also said that dependent cannot be included in my application and has to apply separately, by post, if they cannot come in person. It was ...

Hi z18runway,
You say this repeatedly in some recent posts!

I can assure you nothing is easy. One has to provide very meticulous documentation to succeed, all of the people here have worked really hard to get through.

Thanks vinseh, Yes, all this is correct. However I have noted that HSMP JR 4yr, have had ILR letters issued. Anyway,my point is that apart from the vignette in the PP there is no other proof, having paid a hefty fee for this service, we get no formal ILR granted letter. In all previous leaves, they ...

Hi Vinseh, i specifically asked my case worker for an ILR letter, she said they do not give out such a letter and gave me one which said that ' further leave to remain' has been granted; along with a ILR leaflet( which actually says that this is not confirmation of ILR but only an explanatory leafle...

shs213, HSMP JR applies to dependents as well, hence useful for that purpose too. You could just tick life in UK on the form and still use the HSMP 5 yr category. Regarding appointments, its quite simple. They appear online six wks in advance and advance daily, try between 4-6 pm, thats when they be...

Sheffield PEO Experience:ILR Success

I will briefly mention my experience at Sheffield, highlighting points which will help others. Got ILR today for myself, my wife and my 19 yr old son . Arriving at PEO Important point here is to look for Riverside entrance, as the PEO side you may encounter by car is on a no entry zone, it took me a...

The form is straightforward and fill it as it says. There is a new section asking about your first entry into UK. You should be filling this in as per your ILR entitlement. If there has been previous legal entry into UK but not counted towards ILR that may need to be mentioned as the first entry poi...

You will need 4 yrs of P60s,3 months pay slips & bank statements and letter from current employer, gap doesn't really matter if you had legal leave to remain.

There are two point of views here: 1.Please do not forget that this is an application for ILR. Thus it makes sense to put in the date you entered UK, which is leading to ILR. 2.They might also want to track your entry in UK to make sure its legal, then if you entered UK and stayed, in another catego...

HSMP review documents for those applying before 3/4/06 only?

Hi all, Have just noticed that both old and new guidance on SET O forms say that you are eligible to apply under HSMP JR if you applied before 3/4/06. As we know JR does also apply to those applying between Apr and Nov 06. This only matters for the Life in UK test. Is that an issue as I have not tak...
