This is my undertstanding of the absences: 1.You can justify absences if they are work related, if you have a letter from your employer. Some people have managed with >90 d absences as well. 2.If a single absence is >90 days, not 180d, it becomes more tough, however, you may get by if you were paid i...

Can anyone confirm that this can be done as a family group appointemnt including over 18s, only on phone? It is definitely a hassle if separate appointments are ...

Does he offer you choice of PEO or is it just one of them? is this legal? He doesnt take any fee upfront, as it says no win no fee?
Do let us know how the appointment goes.

Address proof for spouse

Hi all,
6 diff evidence of address proof was asked from one of the applicants at Cardiff PEO.
This is something we havent come across before, any other please share their experiences.
I am not too sure if even all the main applicants can easily provide such evidence!
Many thanks

Hi Congrats for ILR. Its a bit strange to note that you were asked to provide address proof for your wife! I dont know if its because she stayed with you for less than 2 yrs in UK. No such requirement is mentioned nor have I come across this in any forum post. Did they ask you to show the address pr...

Thanks for your response. Youre right but that is not what I asked. How do you confirm the day of departure from UK-by looking at the stamp of arrival, if you have gone to India. This could be 2/12, and you would have left UK on 1/12. What travel date do you take, since there is no stamp of 1/12? I ...

ClarifIcation in counting day of absence and passport stamp

Hi all, Please clarify: When counting days of absences from UK, one looks at the passport stamp. On travel to India sometimes one arrives after midnight ( for example 2 am on 2/12/09), thus date of stamp on passport is a day ahead of one's travel date from UK( for example 11 am 1/12/09). Is it okay ...

Hi, There are two things here 1.Private absences due to legal/paid leave must be declared. Travel dates must be mentioned but will not be counted. 2. This will be taken into account when counting total absences. For example- you list 40 d/ year of holidays x 5yr, which is 200 days, none of these is ...

Simple maths, works this to your being eligible on 21/02, you are applying on 26/01, which is 27 days, you will be okay at 28 days as well. You cannot apply before 28 days which is a day earlier than your application date.
