I do not think it is possible, you have apply from your country of residence. If he is a continuous residence of the UK for at least 12 months then he can apply. This is what I know, someone else can give more information.

Old SEGS

I am trying to understand the new Tier 1 Post Study work, to make a story short my SEGS expired 2 years ago. 1. Can I apply for the new Tier 1 Post-Study Work? 2. Will I get the full 75 points since I was previously on SEGS and outside the UK and if so will I get 2 years or 1 year? 3. The English La...

I will be applying in the caribbean, just so odd that I have to show the funds by the time the application has been processed all the funds would have been used or if the application is sent without the proof of funds it would have been available because of the wait.

I can find out from the embassy.

Isn't it almost impossible to switch from a visitor visa to any other useful visa? Well since the transitional arrangements says the following, I was wondering if I could apply since I was on SEGS. The main point here is even though I came in as a visitor since I was on SEGS I should not have any p...

Mooty, If you were told about having a 3 months validity on the Czech visa so he could apply for a UK visa, you may have to call the embassy in Czech to verify. It may well be true because the application has to be submitted to the embassy then obviously the Czech visa will run out. The next options...
