10 weeks is absurd for people who need to travel out of the country during application peiod. And 10 weeks service standard to me seems - arbitrary as BIA just doesn't have enough data on Tier1 to benchmark against such 'high' standard. We have seen on the forum that in most cases end-end cycle time...

2. Not sure. Better you call HO to confirm. Mine were online pay slips and I got them sealed and signed. a) Yes. I had called up HO on the same and they were fine with single statement for salary credit and fund maintenance. Just to be sure, I mentioned this in my cover letter as well. b) Yes, helps...

1) Yes, Current account is fine as you can withdraw money from it anytime.

2) Yes. Get them sealed and signed.

3) Should be fine but will help if you can get a letter from your employer stating that both are same.
Not sure on notary though.

4) Nope. Photocopies are not required to be sent.

Age points

Hi,

Does any one know how age points will be calculated? I will be 32 in May (born on 6-May-1976) and I plan to apply next week i.e. Apr25th. Will I be eligible for 5 points towards age?

Thanks,
Andy.

Thanks for this, shah.

I have my wage slip that shows gross salary -- stamped and signed by my employer. I am worried as I wont be able to show two pieces of evidence.

Thanks.
Anand.

I called up HO to check whether this was true. Agent informed me that I can show mine and my wifes' (dependent) maintenance funds (800+1600) from my bank account. Will someone else call HO and confirm as well? Thanks, Andy. Hi all, This is ridiculous if ' true'. Dependents dont work and cannot maint...
