Can anyone who attended the ceremonies today confirm that they didnt take your GNIB/IRP card off you and it was just shown at registration? We are going on holiday in 2 weeks (non visa required so no re-entry visa possible) so we are kind of relying on it to get my husband back into the country :| ...

My Advice would be to upload anything in place of the IRP, possibly a letter saying you don't have a IRP card and explain why and the email you sent. At least with paying the process will continue. You can maybe start with your local citizensadvice I'd say, as they might have successful citizrnship cases, for example. Also, contact an TD? My advice would be to use the An Post Mail redirection service to a friend or work address (https://www.anpost.com/Post-Parcels/Man ... edirection) until you have a new place to live and then contact immigration with your new address.
