Registration under discretion, children with settlement and residence

A bit of background, me my wife, and our oldest child currently have ILR. We have two other children who are British as they were born in the UK and we registered them as soon as we got ILR. Due to the associated cost, we are considering applying for our oldest daughter's registration under discreti...

Re: Student visa terminated

Can you please post the exact writing? (Without any information disclosing your personal details). Do you know why UKVI made an assumption he breached the 20 hours work limit? I assume that this is allegedly. If he did breach conditions and UKVI are holding good evidence then you may have to leave. ...

If you are Canadian national you do not a visa to visit the UK.
If you have temporary residence in Canada then you should choose temporary visa and put the expiry date where asked.

The employer can alternatively use the ECS. ILR never expires.

Or you can apply for new BRP and give the application number.

Re: Application in process while on notice period with employer

If he agrees to sign 12 month tenancy you can charge and he has to leave you can charge reasonable reletting costs to his deposit. I don't think you should be involved in the visa situation other then establishing his RTR. But this is just my opinion also, if it is a person with two sponsored job of...

British woman here, posting first time :) looking for advice about a situation I'm in with a prospective tenant on a skilled worker/tier visa. Re: Switching visa - General Information

Your only option in my view is to go back to your country before your leave expires. Putting an invalid application might be a problem as FLR application may require you to put a settled family member details in it. If you do go back you will require a defined COS to come back. I also suggest you wa...

2. Probably not
3. No

Re: Visa extension and lawful residence

Can you apply for admin review?
If yes maybe you should try this route with a cover letter explaining the difference between short term student visa to student visa extension?

Not sure... that sounds very stressful and upsetting.

Otherwise, maybe it worth consulting immigration advisor.

Re: Recent experiences with travelling AFTER ceremony?

For what it worth, we came back to the UK in April. Myself, wife and oldest child had ILR brp's, middle child British passport and youngest non-visa national passport + a print from atlas with ref number that the child is British citizen. We also had his old PBS dependent visa. At this point he was ...

Re: I was told that my visa got cancelled at the airport

Well, I cannot give you immigration advice. But I strongly suggest that you check it with your employer. It sounds like someone may have sent the wrong information to UKVI. I would like to point out that many work contracts may contain a clause that obliges you to notify your employer if you stop be...

First of all, the record the border force sees and the "share code" system are not the same. It appears to be that HR probably withdrew your sponsorship . Now it is a bit odd. Did you go to your workplace since? What have they said? Can you turn up to work and everything is business as usu...

Re: Does MN21 invalidate Tier 2 dependant leave to remain?

I received the approval email abroad. The child received his citizenship on 31/3 and we entered the UK about a week later using his PBS dependent BRP without any issues. However, technically once you have the certificate in hand you should stop using the BRP as it is invalid from that point. Technic...

It sounds that you need to.use your new COS to apply for a new visa. If that's the case you probably not allowed to work for your new sponsor until your visa is transferred and not for your old as your visa had been curtailed. If you are eligible you can apply for healthcare visa. I think it is chea...

Re: Up front “ administration fees”

My take on it... If the employer is not willing to pay both his own costs and the employee fees and IHS then the job does not worth it. I never agreed to pay for my own visa. My first employer during the sponsorship era reimbursed me and the second applied for my visa and ILR. If the job requires go...
