Re: UKVI - Objection on New Entrant Application on CoS

It sounds that it is totally your decision. From immigration POV you need to meet the rules that's it.
Either option will probably move you to be inline with the rules.
If you ask for business advice then you are not in the correct place.

Re: First Adult British Passport Documents required - British by birth - applying from overseas

According to PO guidance for people born prior to 1983 a birth certificate is sufficient. The birth certificate should not list the father profession as diplomat nor lost the home address of the parents in a foreign mission. Otherwise, applying from within the UK even the short one is sufficient. I'...

Re: British citizenship by Double Descent

For your father's birth certificate you can look in the Israeli archives 'ginzach hamedina' if you can't find it there then you can try to rely on an extract from the population registry 'tamtsit rishum'. Otherwise, the state of Israel do not issue birth certificates for people born outside it's ter...

Re: Home office - Additional Information Form 07-23 v1.0 for DCoS application

Reading the entire story it looks like you pressed the red button. So in February you want to hire some for 25k then it gets rejected then suddenly in April you wish to pay 38k? TBH, I would have questioned this as well. Usually when you budget for a certain role you put a reasonable bracket and the...

Can you reference what you have seen? Usually, the guidance will have an errata which lists all the changes. So check what was the update between the previous and current version.

Re: 7 year route on basis of private life

Very unlikely. Please see, https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/private-life-caseworker-guidance/private-life-caseworker-guidance-accessible--2#Child_7 The normal expectation is for a child to follow their parents. I suggest that you read the case worker guidance and make your own assessment. ...

I guessed that what would happen. The HO is notorious when it comes to their IT systems. This was a key reason I spent the money on citizenship. I had similar issues before with the RTR and RTW services. Ring their support number they are able to look at your file on CID/ATLAS and ask for support. ...

Re: Skilled Worker Child dependant visa - sole responsibility refusal

Maybe you should consult advisor. In my opinion a court order is a public document that should be sufficient and currently the case worker disputes court decision (albeit of a foreign country). As for serious and compelling evidence I suggest you don't go down that route as your case is not serious ...

Re: Options for student Visa overstay 13 years

The only visa I'm aware she might get is FLR(FP). Even this is unlikely as she needs to be present in the UK at least 20 years if arrived as an adult. I think she should ask the solicitor what he have done with her passport. Otherwise, like people said before unless it's someone you know for many ye...

1. I have inserted my list of travels and I am at 30 trips and the form won't let me add more, is this standard form limit? (Can I add the rest manually in a cover letter? Is there opportunity to upload a cover letter in general to give some context, e.g. why I travel a lot?) you can attach excel. ...

Re: Question regarding end of skilled worker visa and tenancy agreement

1.Sorry about the jargon... Statuary excuse is the way a landlord established your right to rent. When using your BRP you landlord statutory excuse against prosecution will end when your visa expires. After that he technically must establish new excuse by conducting new right to rent check. If you l...

Re: Question regarding end of skilled worker visa and tenancy agreement

Your landlord statutory excuse may run out. So better to double check with the landlord or agent. You may need to show your entry boarding pass to the landlord once you arrive. The only thing you have to do before your visa expires is either to apply for a further LTR or to leave. You can leave and ...

I called the council when I got the invite.
I asked them and they said they wait for the applicants to contact them. E.g. they don't notify the applicants (Gloucestershire).

Currently the passport office quotes 3 weeks. Mine took exactly 10 days (from application until I got it in hand).
It's probably a matter of luck.

How's the ex-student working without a valid visa? Also not sure what a broken phone has to do with everything. I think OP claims that they did not know they were withdrawn from their course. From my understanding as soon as they were withdrawn from studies they could not work anymore even if the v...
