Congrats! You're done. It's such a good feeling to be done. Curious tho, you got a blue Irish Passport? Mine is red from end of last year. I've only ever seen Red ones. Did they change the color of them recently? It really does feel good, thank you! I know nothing is different in my life in my day ...

Congratulations, Hummingbear. I did my FBR application in March 2020, and yesterday was the "expected" date for completion of my passport. Expecting it to be another week or 2 now. I'm curious if you had to sign for, or be home for, the US mail delivery of your passport and card - may be ...

Congratulations, I’m sure it’s a great pleasure/relief to finally have them in hand! Currently waiting for mine to arrive in GB and hope they don’t get held up for 10 days! I know what you mean about being patient but the whole process is quite anxiety inducing, especially so close to the end. Cong...

It is my understanding that a week beyond the Expected Date is currently the norm. It was for me. My expected date was April 27th and the actual dispatch date was May 7th.

Re: Passport Application Discussion 2022

Has anyone's tracker updated in the past few days? Mine is stuck on 9th May, 17:xx - tried webchat today but even when I got the green to click on, it said "not available, try again later" once I filled in my name, etc. Same for me. They're slow sometimes, be patient and it'll update even...

Re: Passport Application Discussion 2022

For what it's worth I was able to call passport services and they provided me with the tracking number for both my passport Book and Card. yeah they provide tracking number separately for the passport and the card. Not sure if they provide tracking number for return of the documents post thou.
Where/when should I see this tracking number? I don't have it anywhere on my tracking page even though they show my passport as dispatched.

Congrats! Mine is estimated for 4/27 so holding my breath I'll get a similar update soon here

Haha I know right?! What will my morning coffee look like without checking the application page. Maybe I'll just stare at my passport and smile...or plan my trip to Ireland :)

AN Post had much better, and more timely information. It does take a few days to make it thru once it hits Dublin.
Mine took 10-days once AnPost received it in Dublin to be delivered. I think results vary widely. I would not call them timely thought :P

Does anyone know how many business days does it take for documents to be verified for applications made by naturalized Irish citizens living in Ireland?
They don't post any specifics on that, just if you're first time application, renewal...etc
