Re: First Time Passport Application Dicussions

I'm thinking of applying using: - Copy of PSC Card - Certified copy of naturalisation cert - Certified/translated copy of birth certificate Was anyone successful doing that? I'll see if I can get an answer in the chat. People were asked to send originals of naturalization certs instead of copies. S...

Applied: 19/02/24 Processing (checking document): 21/02/24 Processing: 07/03/24 Printing: 26/03/24 I got an email last night asking for clarification on something regarding my birth cert. Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

Hello, Anyone that attended the February 26th ceremony in Dublin received his or her certificate, is almost a month :o ? I attended back in December and it was more than 2 months before I got mine. I'm wondering the same here. If the timeline is anything like December's ceremony, I'd say the certs ...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

Would it be fair to assume that applicants that had their fee processed recently are likely to get an invitation for 29th Feb?

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Congratulations to the 2022 applicants that received their approval letters on the mail recently, like myself! I hope everyone will hear good news very soon. And thank you all for contributing and sharing information here, it's been really helpful. Hopefully there will be a ceremony earlier than Mar...

Re: Will GP Visit Card affects my Citizenship Application?

In my opinion, I don't think it should be an issue. If you study/work accordingly to your Visa you're a tax payer and has rights like everyone else. You shouldn't be punished for being eligible for a benefit.

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Don't bother sending the request again if you've received it twice. It's just a glitch, an error, or an automatic response. Here's the Citizenship Unit's reply to my second request: Immigration Online - E-Vetting Submission Deemed Ineligible Upon review your submission was deemed ineligible for the ...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

I got the invitation again too. I send it over just in case, who knows what's going on there. Maybe there was an error with some applications, or it could be that they'll ignore the remaining from that big May batch. I sent a message to the citizenship team 4 days ago but haven't gotten a reply yet....

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Just an update, I’ve received new mail that states “ Citizenship Division has reviewed your submission and has forwarded your details to An Garda Siochana National Vetting Bureau (NVB), to start the E-Vetting process ” So it’s been exactly 3 months for the next email. That's great to hear, some mov...

Is anyone else that received the e-vetting invitation on 22 May still waiting for their Garda e-vetting link to start the process?
Same here. I submitted the e-vetting form on ISD online on 23rd May and I still haven't gotten anything back. Nothing on my email, spam folder, or on ISD online.
