I've gone through the SAR report and didn't find any mention of overstaying or illegal stay.

Re: Citizenship application

I'd like to request guidance from the board members and administrators regarding whether I am considered an overstay based on the CID Search Summary Report, or if I can proceed with applying for citizenship.

Re: Citizenship application

Hi, I have received the full SAR . Although I still need to review it thoroughly, I haven't come across any comments or notes regarding an illegal stay. Towards the end of the file, there is a note mentioning a law that indicates leaving the country within 90 days after the refusal of a JR (Judicial...

Re: Citizenship application

Hello everyone,

I've received the CID Search Summary Report. Upon reviewing it, I haven't found any indication of illegal status. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could confirm if this is correct, so I can proceed with my Citizenship application.

Thank you!

Re: Citizenship application

Thanks
I submitted the Subject Access Request (SAR) yesterday. I requested the Detailed request option, although I'm unsure if this is the correct one. They have informed me that it will take approximately 30 days to process. Do we have any knowledge of how long this process typically takes?

Re: Citizenship application

After our judicial review (JR) was refused, we understood that we were required to leave the country, which we promptly did, adhering to the agreed-upon timeline set by the Home Office. It seems unfair that individuals cannot depart imme...

Re: Citizenship application

Thanks CR. I will check this for sure. Also if I have no right to appeal in JR is that mean I will never apply for Citizenship application because I was illegal after JR was refused. It saying "If you have been granted permission to stay in a country for an unlimited period, the government usua...

I want to clarify that I do not currently have any pending applications. I trust your knowledge, but for my own peace of mind, could you please provide me with a reference to any URLs or documents that state there are no mandatory requirements?

Name Change

Hi,

I want to inquire about changing surname after being granted Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) due to marriage. Specifically, I would like to know whether I need to apply for a new Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) and how I can inform the Home Office of this change.
Thanks

Re: Stay Requirement for Visitor Visa Application

A while ago, my mother's application was denied because she had stayed longer than what was stated in her application. This was because she supported us during the birth of our first child about 10 years ago. If I were to submit a new application, would it be rejected based on her previous applicati...

Re: Stay Requirement for Visitor Visa Application

Thanks

Can you please provide me with guidance on what documents I should submit with visa application to demonstrate to the visa officer that they have plans to return to my home country after the visa expires?

They will not overstay or burden the health care system or anything.
