You can send copy/scan of driving licence. That is what I sent for my husband and it was fine.

I received my data 2 weeks after the request was raised. I got my Citizenship and UK passport as well.

Have you tried putting in a Subject Access Request (SAR ) . It gives you details of what has been happening with your application.

If you read the checklist carefully you will find that an attested photo is only required if you are unable to provide an ID. If you can provide a photo ID for. Example a passport or driving licence then that's all that's is required. I hope it helps . Thank you for quick response. I will do that. :D
