You need to select No. I called the helpline and that's what they said.

You need to surrender the passport before the evisa application.

They ask for previous nationality in the form.

Did the High Commission reply to you? This new requirement is just more bureaucracy and red tape. Utterly pointless because you automatically lose your Indian citizenship when you naturalise elsewhere.

According to the Indian High Commission, renunciation takes a while.
Can you get a visa to India during this time?
