Re: Spouse Visa - Accommodation

Thanks a lot CR001! Yes, renting in London is expensive, but I guess no way around it. The good thing is we stayed in London for 8 years and have a good idea of where we want to rent again. Also, we might just rent the same apartment we had for 8 years since we know the landlord, so that might make ...

Or does it have to say that we'll be staying in his apartment for X months? Our plan is to reach London, stay with our friend for...

Re: Spouse Visa - Accommodation

Dear Simon, Casa, Thanks a lot for your prompt response - really appreciate it :) Apologies but I'd like to ask another question regarding the accommodation. One of my very close friends owns a flat (3 bedrooms) in London and he lives there alone. I spoke to him and he said he'd be happy to write a ...

Re: Spouse Visa - Accommodation

Thanks a lot for your reply :) In terms of finances, is it ok to show three different savings accounts (1 of mine from UK, 1 of mine from India, and 1 of my wife from UK). If I convert the savings in the Indian account to GBP and add the funds in the 2 UK accounts, the sum meets the financial requir...

Hi Michali,

Thank you ever so much for your response. Where did you get that list of banks that are accepted by UKVI?

Thanks

Re: Spouse visa - Financial requirements - Cash savings

Thanks for the prompt reply :) So if I break the FD and have that money in my Indian savings account (NRE), can I use that (even though it's not in a UK bank account but Indian account). Sure, the savings will be in our accounts for the past 6 months and we will show original bank statements. In ter...

Hi,

We are not sure of our exact date of arrival in UK, but I guess we'll bring it forward so that we can come back and apply.

Thanks

Re: Bachelor degree is no longer fetching points in Calculat

Hi, I didn't use UKNARIC letter during Tier 1 and ILR process. During those applications, I chose the "Bachelor Degree" dropdown option (from what I can remember, the BAchelor (Honours) Degree) option wasn't even there then, but I don't remember 100%. Now the Bachelor degree doesn't fetch ...

Re: Bachelor degree is no longer fetching points in Calculat

Hi fwd079, Yes, you are right, but you have put "Bachelor (Honours) Degree". My degree was the "Bachelor Degree" option in the drop down. That is the option I used in all my previous applications. I don't think I can use the "Bachelor (Honours) Degree" option because my...
