Re: EC for 2 years

Thanks for all your recommendations. I’ve sent an e-mail to UK Visas in Seoul on Friday morning. In my mail I referred to the UK Border website and to Immigration rule - part 6, which clearly states HSMP transitional holders also qualify for 3 years. I got a call back from the UK Embassy, Seoul wi...

I've completed VAF9 docs and wrote on my cover letter HSMP transitional arrangement and also paid the fee accordingly. The new visas rules state it very clearly that EC is...

Courier will pick up the documents tomorrow afternoon and hopefully after that H/O will tell me the status. Will not be able to wait until Monday or Tuesday. It's too nerve wrecking! Time...

Look on www.trackitt.com
If you go to "nationality", enter South Africans and you will have a list of SA's who have applied from SA.
There are also lots of info regarding EC from SA.

Maintenance requirements

Hi all, I'm from South Korea. I'm waiting for my HSMP letter (not Tier 1). If approved I have to apply for EC. Under transitional arrangement for applicants outside the UK and not from India, do we also have to meet the 3 months criteria. HSMP rules: you have to show that you have the necessary amou...

Seems to me that we are going to wait much longer than 14 weeks. The new message on BIA website: Our service standard is that we will decide: 50% of applications within five weeks 90% of applications within 14 weeks. Due to a high volume of applications received over the past few months, we are curr...

What if all HSMP applicants waiting for answers send complaint letters to the Home Office - or specifically to Ms. Jacqui Smith. You think they will do something about the situ...
