hi ethan,
yes u will and any dependent (18 or more) will need life in the uk test done to apply for citizenship.

i did get the letter and am applying soon.no sign of the cheque yet.

just to update my application outcome
i have receieved the backdated letter for my ilr application with the mention of one off payment as well. :D

That's not always the case.You need to lucky and with the right bank. My account is with HSBC and they issue statements once a month.when i asked them to give me the latest ,i am told to wait for 3-5 working days after putting in the request.secondly they also refused to sign or stamp the cash point...

Hi Mayana,
I do not know about your case exactly but i did use the combination of my salaried earnings + self employment earning to match the income criteria and got my approval with basic documents for tier 1 extension.if you need any more info,let me know.
