Re: Naturalisation Certificate - postcode error

a) check in your submissions whether you put the correct postcode down b).ask them about it; if you have correct address, you might have a better chance of getting a reply Thanks. Where can I check my earlier submissions online and how would I contact to ask them about it? From experience it has be...

Naturalisation Certificate - postcode error

Hi, I've received my Naturalisation Certificate today and noticed a postcode error. I live in Northern Ireland and on the cert it is BT-- - N -. The letter should be B instead of N. What should I do? I will want to apply for an Irish passport at some stage but my application will obviously show the ...

Going to ceremony next week at Dublin Convention Centre. Can anyone suggest the best place to park and a backup if that's full please?

Cheers.

By the way, I don't know how will you get to Ireland legally if you don't have ability to go there visa free. Would you need to get a visa now?

Meself, if that's for me then I have no issues as I live in Northern Ireland anyway.... just jump in the car!

I sent my second DAT1 in June and it was recorded as delivered 4 days later.
I sent it International Track and Sign, costing a whopping £7.40 for one sheet of paper!
Have you heard back from them yet?
NOT A WORD!

Re: Citizenship Application: NI resident, what happens after DAT1 / PSNI clearance?

You may recall that I received the e-vetting invitation back in May along with thousands of others. Even though I was unsure about it as I live in NI and have never lived in the Republic, I completed it anyway. I emailed them at the time and explained that I wasn't sure what I was to do as I had rec...

Re: Citizenship Application: NI resident, what happens after DAT1 / PSNI clearance?

My wife applied last year (we live in NI), application recognised in Sep. Got e-vetting invitation about a month which we filled in and had no movement on since. When we originally applied there was nothing on the form about sending in a DAT1 form from PSNI (and haven't had any correspondence recei...

Re: Citizenship Application: NI resident, what happens after DAT1 / PSNI clearance?

As an additional update, I also emailed citizenshipinfo@justice.ie and explained to them that I had received the e-vetting invitation (as presumably they themselves would have sent it) and asked what they wanted me to do. I have now received a reply from them: "Thank you for your email. This em...

Re: Citizenship Application: NI resident, what happens after DAT1 / PSNI clearance?

Thank you meself. That information is indeed where you say! I feel so stupid. I can indeed now fill the e-vetting form out, albeit that it does feel like a waste of their time. I have just fired an email off so will sit on it for a few days and give them time to respond. I am also in the process of ...

Re: Citizenship Application: NI resident, what happens after DAT1 / PSNI clearance?

Cheers meself. Well, the e-vetting form starts off asking for a Person ID and Assigned team. Neither of these apply to me as I don't even know what they are. Then at the bottom it gives the country as "Ireland" with no option for NI, so I'm indeed wondering if the e-vetting form is even fo...

Re: Citizenship Application: NI resident, what happens after DAT1 / PSNI clearance?

Sorry for jumping in here, but I didn't want to start a whole new thread. I also live in NI. I applied for Naturalisation in May 22 and included the DAT1 with my application. However, I received an e-vetting email today! I'm confused, since they are aware that I live in NI and wonder why I got the e...
