I know that immigration staus can be proven on-line within the UK. My question is how to prove immigration status at an overseas airport check-in on return to UK without a BRC after December 2024.

Answering my own question - COA received today 16 days after submission of biometrics.

Time-line to date:

EEA4 sent special delivery 5 May
Received by HO 7 May (Delayed by Royal Mail)
£65 payment taken 8 May
Received acknowledgement letter dated 8 May
Letter requesting biometrics dated 15 May Received 20 May
Biometrics provided 22 May.
