 Check out the independent news. http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/bre ... king38.htm

Now just think if they would allocate this amount of staff to the naturalization process.
Shit the backlog would be cleared in three months..

Misleading

I find it strange that in every website giving advice on Irish immigration , the timeline for processing of applications varies. Most cases it is far short of actual time. Is there some misleading from the authorities????????????.

News from the irish Independant newspaper. The rise in unemployment, allied to foreign workers coming to the country, was also cit...

Keep up the pressure

I think that the government is worried, now that the economy is slowing down and there are more and more people signing on to the live register for unemployment benefits. They know that the majority of emigrants who come over in the boom times are highly qualified, as well as having brought money in...

It would seem that the permission to remain without condition as to time application is for persons not wanting to apply for citizenship. I think that you can only apply for one or the other, not both. They may even come back to you requesting that you send in a letter stating one or the other, thus...

Lord help

Well I believe that with the slowdown in the economy, and with departmental budget cuts coming, it dosent take a gunius to work out where the cuts will be made. SO EXPECT EVEN MORE. REDTAPE, DELAYS, and whatever they can come up with to slow the process down.

Well for one, two of my closest friends and family have now left Ireland for Australia. The reasoning is that by the time the citizen application is processed in Ireland they would have already got their Australian citizenship. The other being that the wether is sooooooo much better. I strongly advise that we keep posting these to the minister as well as to the newspapers. KEEP UP THE PRESSURE. What about a protest ...

Citizenship delay

Don't you think that the present gov is already against us? Why are they so reluctent to get this issue of giving citizenship to legal applicants. They are crying for the legalization of iligals in the USA, but as regards to us who are legally in Ireland contributing to the GDP and paying taxes, are...
