Hello all, My empathy to all who are waiting for their certs. Congratulations to the patient ones who completed the Citizenship process. Thank you for the person to provided us a guestimate of around 5th March 2024 for 19th Dec 2024 3pm attendees. That helps the mind a lot! Thank you! Quick questio...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

I fully agree with you. Additional ceremonies are going to be held next week, which will only increase the backlog... I was positive about 45 days delivery but It's being now more than 2 months waiting for it and it seems a none sense... I'm lucky enough that I'm an EU citizen and I don't need a vi...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

Thank you for sharing this. Failing to voice our concerns through complaints or petitions is unlikely to prompt any improvement in their frequent failures and the overall deficiency of this service. The notion that 6000 ceremony attendees constitute a body of work is laughable. They were aware of t...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

I am away and have been since thursday this week and I am worried I missed the delivery. I have no tracking number and Citizenship department are not responding to mails. If you did miss it, you should've gotten a notice saying they missed you; check with your local postman/post office if you wish ...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

Hi so a question for you all now that I have my certificate to apply for a passport do I do this online or paper version? Online is faster but paper take about 2 months Does Anpost try to redeliver if you miss the delivery or does it just go back into limbo ? For tracked items, you get a "we m...

Any updates for anyone?
Probably they will start sending the certificates out this week.
Maybe post your timeline to a relevant topic, so people can see how long have you been waiting?
Has anyone received their certificates ?

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

I think we should all just accept the entire process is simply not very efficient and we are just making failed attempts at trying to figure out why they might do this or that. It’s simple really, it’s not an optimised process and there’s little accountability at the top level of management to make...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

I think they can improve this process by issuing a temporary certificate in the ceremony which folks can submit to their employer. We are naturalised now but still stressed over stuff . We deserve better On the invitation it said your certificate will be posted in couple of weeks. That means two we...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

Has anyone received certificate yet from the 18th Dec ceremony? Thank you Based on the last few ceremonies, the beginning of February is when you'll see the first significant numbers receiving certs. There will be a lot of people who don't receive them before late April. I'd be very, very surprised...

Has anyone received invites yet to the ceremonies ? Its really not considerate at all for us to have to wait for everything. This also impacts many with their Christmas plans ?

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Thank you for your kind words of support. I'm panic a bit because I heard that people got information two weeks before the ceremony in past. I think this is exactly it though. We dont get the respect or care to enable planning ? Christmas is nearly a month a away and we have no clarity as to whethe...
