Re: IRP Registration County Cork

So you entered Ireland as a tourist? What rights are you entitled to for a resident permit (IRP) is what I meant by having a document/letter. You must be authorised with rights to remain in Ireland as a resident and than should be approved via a government (INIS/DoJ) document. The Garda immigration ...

Re: IRP Registration County Cork

Did you receive your approval letter yet? It will instruct you were to make an appointment. Bandon station has an immigration officer, but you will need to wait for instructions from the department before Garda immigration can process you.

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

either they dont know how frustrating it is not being able to check the progress or they simply dont care at all. does anybody know who to contact if this is seriously delayed ? Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

I feel your pain. I attended the ceremony on 18th December and am still wondering what if a paper goes missing? there should be some kind of check in system with which to double check this. its such an anti climatic event with nothing to show for it but further anxiety soon after. surely they can a...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

My partner attended the ceremony in December and noted the guest speaker made a comment that “they were all citizens now.” I found this interesting as you actually have no means to prove this for many weeks to months after attending. It’s also quite sad to think I was approved on December 29th and i...

Got the approval letter today, stamped 29th Dec. Paid the fee and see what goes next. I received mine today too; it was also dated 29 December. Please can you drop your E-vetting timeline here? Perhaps it may help me have an idea of where I am on this seemingly endless journey... My disclosure was ...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

I think we should all just accept the entire process is simply not very efficient and we are just making failed attempts at trying to figure out why they might do this or that. It’s simple really, it’s not an optimised process and there’s little accountability at the top level of management to make ...

I made a new application and hopefully they respond to my emails, what happens when the e-vetting is completed I was told you have to pay a fee of 950 but is there an email about it or do they post you out a letter? just looking for clarity and what to do.
You will get a letter in the post.

Re: Stamp 4 to Stamp-4 EUFAM

I’m fairly confident you would not qualify as EUFAM is for non EEA family members of member states (other than Ireland). Besides, I don’t see how it would make any difference when travelling as you will be allowed to enter Ireland with either. I had an EUFAM and it made no difference at all and othe...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Does someone know if they give you a certificate right at the ceremony, if not, how long does it take to receive it? Thanks in advance They don't. From two to sixteen weeks (or more), judging by existing data; will probably be longer for people on the 19th as previous ceremonies only took one day (...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

I only received the above correspondence by post and there is no mention of another email correspondence. Shall I wait for an email prior submitting the fee? No, the post letter is all you need to pay the fee. After you've paid, you'll get 3 more emails, which would be days or months apart: a) ackn...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere before, but the invitation says nothing about how long the ceremony will take. You need to arrive 1 hour before the ceremony but no information on how long it will take to complete. It would be great to know when it will end so people can plan their commute...

I was invited to the Oct ceremony and she is invited to the Dec one. So, it seems there can be differences in the...

It's just how it is - there are no rules in terms of order (or at least not apparent). People applying at the same time got approvals months/years apart.
Except for the fact their own policy is to process applications in chronological order, but we’ve seen this broken so many times at this point.

I will contact the TD. What did you do after the Stamp 4 expired and you didnt formal letter about EUTR1 ? This effects employment yes and the relationship itself There was nothing I could do but wait. However that was my point to the TD… At least if the treaty division sent you an acknowledgement ...

Re: EUTR1A the insane process. Anyone has any information for me ?

I was left completely in the dark for my EUTR1. No acknowledgment, no application number, nothing. Even my stamp 4 had expired by the time I finally received their formal approval letter. The only way I was able to receive any of the above information was through the TD that was querying them on beh...
