is all the information contained in the 2022 scorecard is applicable to the people of Northern Ireland, too, or not? I will be thankful for any information.  :?: :!: NI residency is only relevant if you are applying as spouse (or child in the appropriate circumstances) of an Irish na...

Re: Some questions regarding citizenship application

1. In the absence of specification in the guidelines some people are submitting one utility bill for the year, but others who are more conservative are submitting 3 and ensuring they have the remaining 9 saved safely in case they are requested. 2. RTBs are issued annually now, and have always been r...

Re: New 2023 scorecard

Just one affidavit and mention you had 150 points via insurance/GP etc in those years. Lots of people
in the same position- it happens when they change the criteria without warning.

Re: New 2023 scorecard

The old scorecard system allowed this, but the current model has changed to require one of A and one of B. A is proof of financial activity; B is proof of residential activity. Duplicating proof A doesn’t substantiate proof B. The guidance suggests she should submit A plus an affadavit where she doe...

Thank you very much , any idea about Egypt ? European countries?
European (particularly EU) have data sharing arrangements in place. You’d need to check the data sharing arrangements for Egypt.

Re: Does letter from RTB and mobile phone bills count as Type B Residency Proof?

1) e statements are fine as long as bank is regulated by Ireland or EU and copies are submitted in colour. I don’t imagine the name they have on your statements should be a problem given you’ll be submitting ID that shows your middle name. 2) we’ve been advised that RTB is fine/good but some applica...

Re: Question about the Reckonable Residence Calculation

You need 3 consecutive months of bank statements (with 3+ point of sale transactions) issued by a bank regulated by Central Bank of Ireland or European Bank. (Page 6 of the new guidance.) Page 11 and page 3 is explicit that you should only send required amount of proofs and not more.

Re: Proof of Residency Question - Citizenship - Ireland

The proofs that have been removed typically didn’t require verification of residential address to achieve: eg fishing licence, GP record, third level college, health insurance, tv licence etc. (Individual mileage will vary of course - but many cases of not needing proof for these.) The ones that are...

Re: Proof of Residency Question - Citizenship - Ireland

The Type A and Type B model of the scoresheet has only be in place about 10 days. So no-one will have had any feedback on how they are viewing documents. However, it does seem to place a greater emphasis on proof of address than the old scoresheet released in 2021. For this reason I’d be wary of pla...
