Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

I attended the 1 PM ceremony on the 19th of December. On Saturday the 2nd of March, I received an email from citizenship helpdesk asking me to send an abbreviation for my name so that they can issue my certificate! (my name in my original passport is too long and this has caused me problems before)....

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Does anyone know when invitations for the December ceremonies are expected, or have they already been sent? I completed e-vetting on 29 November, and hopeful to the point of changing a flight out for Christmas at home (and paying for the change in fare), that I will be among those invited. To be co...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. I recently had my evetting disclosure viewed on November 27th 2023 as part of the Irish citizenship process. With the upcoming ceremony scheduled for December 18th/19th 2023, I’m curious if anyone has insights on whether there’s a high probability of recei...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Appreciate the reply on the quarterly emails. I am a 2021 (January) applicant, received my approval in May, payed straight away and got my confirmation email that payment has been processed at the end of May 2023. Hopeful that they include me in the December ceremonies since my home country doesn't...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

We paid fee in July but submitted in January this year, I know it’s early and there’s a backlog from previous years, but haven’t received the quarterly email either… what could be the cause? Quarterly email is sent to applicants who haven’t received decisions. If you already got approved, you won’t...

If it's quarterly, wouldn't it be at the end of next quarter, ie late November?
Well, 14th of August wasn't really end of Q3.. They sent a message on 8th of June and another on the 14th of August. You might be right, I don't know. I was just checking there wasn't one I haven't missed

All, I revisited the NVB website out of curiosity and noticed that my download has expired, but the disclosure has been viewed. Is it normal that the download expires in one month?
Yes. All disclosures expire after 30 days. This is mentioned on the evetting web page and on their FAQ. It’s normal

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Does anybody know if it's allowed to go with a newborn (1 month old)? The invitation says to not bring children. My wife is my adult guest, so we don't have any other option to bring our newborn. Anyone has heard if that's allowed? It’s not allowed as indicated in the invitation. Btw, you don’t hav...
