Re: Multiple passport applications in a single envelope

But surely, there would be precedences ? For people who have applied in a single envelope, do they get updates on both PEX numbers or just one ?

Updates on documents received can take up to a week. Multiple applications are not necessarily processed together.
HMPO receives 100s of applications on a daily basis so acknowledgments may take time.
So does that mean I should expect application updates on both PEX numbers ?

Multiple passport applications in a single envelope

Hello! I sent my wife's and my son's documents in a two different envelopes with their respective PEX numbers written on them inside a master envelope with my son's PEX written on it. I have only received acknowledgement for my son's documents having been received. When I track my wife's PEX - it st...

Re: Child citizenship - 90 day rule

Hi - the exact days for my spouse are 106 days. So - grateful for thoughts for the following. 1. do you think I should apply for my wife and son together given my wife's absences. Is there enough precedence for 106 days to be okay - or does it make sense to be safe and wait for 90 days 2. can you co...

The absence rules for adults don’t apply to children. Yes you can register child under MN1.
Can you apply MN1 on a standalone basis - after one parent is naturalised but not the other one ?

Re: Child citizenship - 90 day rule

Hi contorted - in the last 12 months, my wife / son would have spent about 100 days outside UK.

In the last 3 years, it should be about 60-100 days each.

Child citizenship - 90 day rule

Hi all - grateful for a reply to the specific situation, I searched but could not find an answer. I obtained my British citizenship in May 23. My son and wife obtained their ILR in Aug 23. My wife and son have spent more than 90 days outside UK in the last 12 months - so I was planning to wait a few...

Re: Urgent Travel pending ILR application

But how would the Home office automatically invalidate the application and how would they know.

Wouldn’t the invalidation happen at the point of re entry when you attempt to enter ?

Urgent Travel pending ILR application

Hi all - I had applied for an ILR - SET M route in early May and haven’t heard back. I need to travel outside the country urgently. If I were to travel outside the country for a month.
