Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

I stopped quoting others here as the scrolling was getting out of control :D I would encourage others to contact their TD's about these ceremonies. It's not much effort to send them an email and ask that this issue be brought up in debates with the MoJ. There's legislation that now supports this ve...

All, I revisited the NVB website out of curiosity and noticed that my download has expired, but the disclosure has been viewed. Is it normal that the download expires in one month?
It is normal. They can't keep everyone's disclosures on the system forever.
Thank you.

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Even right now I am sitting on a now expired stamp 4 and they refuse to send me an acknowledgment that my renewal application was received by registered post so I can see that it was delivered. They are even ignoring my solicitor at this point. This is a mess. Can they not even send you an email co...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

The fact that they are not obligated to hand you your naturalisation certificate at these "mandatory" ceremonies even though you've waiting years, paid your fees and signed the declaration is bad enough. That's the scary part. I would much rather wait a bit more to get invited compared to...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

My E-vetting progressed today 10/10/23 to Application process completed. Apllied Nov. 2022 recieved invitation 22 May 2023. Good Luck to everyone. Does anyone know how long it takes from ‘Application process completed’ to ‘Disclosure Viewed’ on the NVB tracking web? Mine progressed to Application p...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Do you find this helpful? I am aware that this increases the pressure on them, but they never respond to applicants. I believe the only times I have received a response from them were when my solicitor sent the letter by mail and email and they responded immediately. a friend of mine told me the sa...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Even that wording has recently changed from the MoJ. The citizenship department letter that came out earlier this year stated they expect to naturalise the majority of 2021/2 and 23 applicants this year. The MoJ has recently said decisions should be made on these applications by end of year, no lon...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Think it may be helpful if many of us who are still awaiting a decision writes to our TD for the need to push for naturalisation without the ceremony until at least the backlog is cleared. This seems to be a deliberate waste of resources and time. Well, I spoke with my solicitor about it, but she s...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Does anyone know or guess what would be the reason of delay from the full completion of eVetting until receiving the acceptance letter (e.e, the letter for 950 e)? In other word, do the they first check if all the documents are in order and happy with them and then send for eVetting? It is worth no...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

We can speculate about EU/UK faster, spouses slower, but none of that is confirmed true, it is still black box. That is partially true, I have seen the timelines and EU/ EEA are given preference. They also skip the queue. My aunt is married to an irish citizen and she did skip the queue and her cas...

HI all, Just wanted to let know that today we got my wife's approval letter delivered to us by.... a kind lady from another town 20min away to whom our letter had been sent mistakenly together with her own approval letter. My wife applied around March-May 2022 and was asked to do her evetting a mon...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

I understand wanting your approval and ceremony to arrive as soon as possible, but what I don't understand is why would you hope that others are not selected to be invited to the citizenship ceremony. 2023 applicants did not ask to be prioritized ahead of anyone else, they are just people who sent ...
