Re: Approval letter sent to wrong address

HI all, Just wanted to let know that today we got my wife's approval letter delivered to us by.... a kind lady from another town 20min away to whom our letter had been sent mistakenly together with her own approval letter. My wife applied around March-May 2022 and was asked to do her evetting a mon...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

I understand wanting your approval and ceremony to arrive as soon as possible, but what I don't understand is why would you hope that others are not selected to be invited to the citizenship ceremony. 2023 applicants did not ask to be prioritized ahead of anyone else, they are just people who sent ...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

We are all aware that how they send out invitations is a mystery, but I'm hoping this time there are no applicants from 2023. I understand wanting your approval and ceremony to arrive as soon as possible, but what I don't understand is why would you hope that others are not selected to be invited t...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

I am not saying at any point that pre-2023 shouldn't be prioritized, what I am saying is that the small 2023 group being used for the trial should be used to fill out the ceremony slots if there are any left after the selection of the pre-2023 who are ready for the ceremony. It is procedurally impo...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

From what I can see on the 2021 applicants page, invitations have already begun to be sent out. On the 2022 and 2023 pages, however, the majority of 2023 applicants have paid their application fees and are awaiting an invitation, while 2022 applicants appear to be making little progress or have stop...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

I am really happy for the people who are getting invitations and wish them all the best but at the same time, my anxiety is rising as I did not even receive the payment link (My e-vetting process was completed on 26/07/23). I don't think that I will be invited to the October ceremony. fingers cross...

Re: Could employer request to cancel my Ireland Long Term Residency ?

Long term residency is Stamp 4. Your employer has no right to cancel it now. You can even switch to a different employer being on STAMP 4. If you were on Critical skills permit then you need to stick with the same employer until you get your STAMP 4 and then leave. Don't worry. No one can cancel it ...

She already done FOI March 2023, do you advise another one?
Have you asked your TD to query on your behalf?
I don't think that would help in this case knowing that there is already a solicitor involved. I think your best bet is to drag them to court now if

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Also no approval for my wife yet... That's annoying... Anyone from 2021 not approved yet? Simply send an email with your FOI request. This must be so frustrating! Applicants awaiting approval since 2021 must be prioritised. I will be shocked to see even a single applicant going in the upcoming cere...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

How long on average does it take between invitation forwarded to NVB and NVB sending link to start the vetting?? The email notifying me that my invitation is reviewed and forwarded to NVB stated that I’ll have 30 days to complete the application or invitation will expire. Can it actually take NVB m...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Nope. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Nein. Zero. Niente. Hire immigration solicitor and they should send a letter to them (they HAVE to asnwer them in 4 weeks), you can do it now I submitted an application through the solicitor, who informed me that we will not follow up until 19 months have passed. If you ...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

I am sorry, but I cannot understand the last four digits discussion here. I was in the 22nd May batch, and my last 4 digits were 3576. What does it really mean? Does this mean that I was applicant 3576 that was processed, but when I completed evetting, my final five digits were 00054? Not sure what...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Just an update, I’ve received new mail that states “ Citizenship Division has reviewed your submission and has forwarded your details to An Garda Siochana National Vetting Bureau (NVB), to start the E-Vetting process ” So it’s been exactly 3 months for the next email. Anyone from the May 23rd group...

Re: Approval (or rejection) letter is emaiil or post?

Doesn't matter how you got to naturalization (Stamp 4 or not); letter is received via post and yes, it has instructions how to pay money. Are we certain that this is the case as my friend who applied this year and got naturalised in June ceremony said she received an email asking her to pay. Not su...
