Re: June 2024 Citizenship Ceremonies naturalisation certificates

The certificate printing process should be relatively faster now that the picture has been removed.

Re: how to proof last day/ days before application?

Its the stamps (IRP dates). Just input that on the calculator and it will give you the date when you can apply. That's how they know the last day(s) before applying.

Re: Confusion on irish naturalisation residency calculater

You should always check the dates when they were stamped in your passport, if at all. What I did wrong was that I applied for naturalisation four months late because, in the past, INIS used to stamp passports with visas and then issue GNIB cards, which could take weeks. My solicitor advised me to lo...

The confirmation of registration email says the certificates will be sent by registered post within about two weeks.
My email says a couple of weeks. Could you please check to see if it says two weeks?

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

I read that but there are also enough anecdotes in the forum from previous ceremonies earlier this year with folks waiting ~10 weeks to get their certificate in the post. I really hope they improve on this but I'm not 100% counting on it for now. From what I saw on a few of the Facebook groups, it ...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

Does anybody know if they have any ID verification request for the guest of the ceremony ? Would the guest need to provide any sort of documents such as passport , IRP, etc ? I don't think they would check the guest's information. I see no point as this would add more work. The email doesn't say an...

Re: Did not inform the department about divorce

If you married in this country, you must disclose it; however, if you married and divorced in your home country, it does not matter as long as you have the necessary paperwork. I would take solicitors' advice here because they know the law, and if they say you shouldn't disclose, don't.

Re: How long does it take to get the first time passport application?

Just a quick one - my passport is due to expire in first week of July and I have heard you have to send the home country passport when you send docs to passport office here after getting the naturalisation cert so do you think they will be ok with expired passport or do i need to renew it? Wouldn't ...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

And do you know approximately, what date will i expect to receive the ceremony invite for Dublin CCD ceremony? Will i be invited at all or not? I received the 950 eur fee instruction letter on 26 Apr 2024. We just can't know that. Also, do they send the naturalization certificate by registered post...

Is the email in your junk/spam folder? It might be blocked by your email provider as a junk link. Try moving the email out of junk/spam folder if that is where it is to the normal Inbox. Or maybe there is an 'unblock content' button at the top of the email. Another way would be to forward it to you...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

Okay, so I came across the following, which sheds light on how they manage the invitations. It appears that they are inviting people from the southern part to the Killarney ceremonies, and then including the Dublin ones in the CCD ceremonies. "I am informed that efforts have been made to accomm...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

Anyone received invitations for June 2024 dublin ? Nope, people have received invitations for the Killarney ceremonies, but I'm not sure if the cut off period is still one week before the ceremony; if that's the case, the chances of anyone else being invited for Killarney next week are slim; howeve...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

I applied in 2021 and only got approval in March 2024... I even had to go to solicitor for them to process my application a bit faster... but then some people were getting approved within months of applying... I don't get it how the system works tbh.. I applied through the solicitor and then had to...

It will be a miracle if I got them all before June ceremonies 😃 That's a really good news! I hope you get the approval and i...

Once i have that, how long after can i get a Stamp 4? Does it take any shorter than the regular 2 years for stamp 4 or not.
It doesn't shorten your route. You need 21 months on Stamp 1 under CSEP for Stamp 4, 1A doesn't count.
True
