rules may change anytime? Confused. I got tier-1 which is 3 yrs initially that is base on the old rule which says that bachelor degree is fine. yep i have exp in those areas but those were at the begining of my career. ashish what do you mean by good skills?I know mainframe is not hot in UK but i am updating my VB/SQL skills updating my SLQ DBA and PL/SQL skills do. Some of my friends in H1 got some jobs recently after a long search of more than 6 months. But coming to Tier-1 there is a rumour that only british employees are given priority compared to Tier-1 or HSMP guys? Is this true? Also I believe getting a job in US will be easier than UK?

My understanding is that Instead of fulltime study you can do a partime study and work full time. So you can prove that you are economically active and you get a degree too. is this a good option?

same situation

it is same here as if i have exp in mainframe with db2 and have even worked in SQL server so oracle or sql server developer jobs will not make much diff if we have worked in any one of the RDBMS. Pls advise.
