Can i claim child benefit in Gibraltar?

Hi,

I live in Ireland and I have an offer to move to Gibraltar with my family.
My children receive child benefit in Ireland.
Can I claim child benefit in Gibraltar?
Isn't it part of the UK? Also heard about a regulation 1408/71
Please help :?:

after the naturalisation certificate is issued

Apparently after the certificate is issued it takes the office 7 days or longer to get it signed and posted.It seems like a lifetime :-(

District court Dublin

I got the approval in August and I had to wait until mid October for the district court appointment since it was booked out .I went to the district court in Dublin.

Oath of fidelity

It is quite straight forward. When you get the application approval they send you a letter with the instructions. You call the district court and make an appointment. You need to go on a Wednesday at 09.30 , I believe. You queue and then you get the letter and form sent by the immigration. They fill...

Certificate of naturalisation

Finally I went to the district court for the oath of fidelity.
Great feeling really :D . I am now waiting for the certificate of naturalisation. Does anybody know how long it takes??? It has been
3 weeks already and no news.

My citizenship application took 39 months

Just now I got the letter saying my application has been approved.
it takes longer and longer each day:-(

Pending citizenship application

Since i last contacted the office by phone I haven't received any news apart from : All applications will be processed in due time. I wrote them a letter and no news so far. I will keep you guys posted.
