Re: Germany D-Visa (Family Reunification Visa)

Hi, Thanks for your response, much appreciated! Do you have any idea about processing times for the entry clearance visa or temporary residence permit? Thanks again. The Aufenthatstitel is very straightforward. Depending on the city or town (if its not a big city) you apply from it can take within ...

EUTR1A Application Applied 06.09.2023 received on 07.09.2023 Acknowledgment: 06.12.2023 (after 3 months, only after asking the TD to inquire) New Documents sent: 12.12.2023 In acknowledgment they asked for more documents. No mention of temporary permission, I understand this is a EUTR1A application...

Re: Marriage with non Eu

As Meself2 asked, if your soon to be spouse is from another EU country it will be very easy to legalise your stay after marriage even if you are an overstayer because you will automatically have EU rights same as your EU spouse. If your spouse has an Irish passport it will take some more steps. *To ...

I'm not familiar with sponsorship laws in Belgium, but if it's similar to German one (VE), that could possibly work; usually these sponsorships come from family members, though. Thanks. I'll investigate, certainly. In Belgium, it is allowed for non-relatives to complete the form, but there are high...

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

Best you ask for it via email and registered next day delivery post. Just say you need a temporary stamp to apply for a job. This method works mostly on EUTR1 applications. Your letter or email should include your personal ID or application number on your acknowledgement letter, your full name and ...

Hi there. First post... I am thinking about inviting a friend over to Belgium from Namibia. Long story - I worked in Namibia for quite a long time, so obviously during that time I met people. But the guy who I would like to invite might find it difficult to prove ties to Namibia (i.e. proof of retu...

For those who recently applied from the US, how long did it take for you to receive your passport and documents once they were shipped from Ireland? I'm concerned because mine were mailed November 27th, and AN Post shows it being received that day in Dublin and leaving Dublin a few hours later but ...

Hi,
It will be best you wait for the outcome of the ESTC and receive your IRP before you travel out of the country to prevent the possible case of not returning soon or anymore.

Re: EUTR1A the insane process. Anyone has any information for me ?

You are switching to Stamp 4 EUfam which I believe can be added to your previous reckonable residence and be eligible for permanent residency straight ahead. Nope - EUFam stamps are not counted for long term residency combined with other stamps, as EUFam has their own path to permanent residence. E...

Re: EUTR1A the insane process. Anyone has any information for me ?

What does TD mean. I'm also waiting for EUTR1 response. TD means Teachta Dála or Local Councillor . They are members of parliament. Some times sending complaints to your city/town/county TD office helps to escalate the case. However you can also try to send complaints to your EU partner's country S...

You will be eligible for citizenship after 3years, OP would be eligible for citizenship in 3 years regardless I think? I don't remember the rule that those 3 years have to be spent on a spouse visa. The 3 years has to be in Ireland or Northern Ireland. As soon as the spouse or both of them depart f...
