Re: Stamp 4 renewal through spouse

I am not encouraging you to do the wrong thing but it will depend on what your spouse will loose before informing the ISD and if it's your free will to help him. People get away with it keeping it a secret and attending the appointment for renewal. The ISD may not know your situation and whether you...

Re: Refusal with 2 and 3rd article

Guess that kind of make sense about the financial nitpicking however I have no idea why sightseeing is not considered as the reason. Do they actually read the cover letter? I will be more specific next time I apply. How long should I wait before I apply again perhaps for another EU country? Yes the...

Re: Refusal with 2 and 3rd article

Thanks for your reply. I did add my paychecks albeit it was the minimum wage of Turkey, I added it nevertheless. The money however was in my time-deposit account and not current account. Could that be of an issue? Yes the money not being in your current account or savings account could also be the ...

Re: Refusal with 2 and 3rd article

I did not have an itinerary since my stay was only in Athens but that missing could be the issue with the 2nd reason? The third reason, the money is obtained through means of financial gains and it is not lent since I have had it in the account for more than a year and I cannot do anything about th...

Re: Netherlands residence permit - Application flow error?

This is not applicable to you because you fall under non temporary purpose and lived in Netherlands for 5 years. If you were married or dependant on a non eu spouse then you can apply for what you mentioned. As a spouse of a Dutch citizen/EU you do not need to have an independent permit. You just ha...

Re: Non-EEA spouse of stamp 4 holder (based on CSEP)

Hi there, Since you are no longer under CSEP, you are in "Category B'. Your spouse is eligible for stamp 3 but she is not allowed to work unless she gets a work permit from the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment (DETE). She is also not allowed to study. Stamp 3 is considered as resid...

Re: Netherlands residence permit - Application flow error?

Hi, Since you are still happily married to a Dutch citizen, you are not eligible for this type of residence permit. The best option for you is to apply for Dutch citizenship (You were eligible to apply for citizenship from 2019). You can also opt to apply for permanent residence permit if you do not...

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

I know its only meant to be visa-free when you are accompanied by your partner but are the immigration officers actually checking? How would they not check? You have to enter Schengen zone/other EU countries somehow. If you're by yourself and you only have a Stamp 4EUFam, you will, most likely, not...

Re: Germany permanent residence permit for teenage daughter

Hi, Since you are now an Irish citizen, by law you have to visit your Bürgerbüro to change your nationality on their system. After this they will send your changes to the Ausländerbehörde to cancel your EU blue card. As an EU citizen you can not have a Blue card unless you are a dual citizen. So if ...

Re: Dependant younger brother under eu law

Hi, It will be impossible to go by EU law as relative. This's because Germany only considers spouse, minor children, parents and grandparents of EU citizen or the spouse's. Another disadvantage is UK is no more an EU country. Since you have a residence permit in Portugal you can use that to try to g...

Re: Freedom of movement route or local law route

Hi, It depends on your friend's nationality. EU law (Freedom of movement) is easy to secure the visa and also fast. It's unlikely your friend will encounter any problems but even if that happens your friend can use Solvit for complaints. As i said it depends on the nationality to go with the nationa...
