Hi,

I switched from WP to Tier1 and did not find this criterion regarding 6 months anywhere. (I was in UK for 1 year though)
Only related thing was that if you want to get 5 points for UK experience, you should have earned atleast GBP 16K or so in UK.

Hi,

It should not be a problem as I applied for new Tier 1 application and my gross salary was slightly different every month. I think this would be the case with most of the applicants

Guys, Firstly, Thanks a lot to all for helping me out with this. I would actually have gone ahead with half of the required documents had I not posted a query in this group. Slight change of circumstances on my side. I have to fly back to India on an urgent basis (tomorrow night actually) so will be...

Vinny, Abhijack, Thanks for your advice. It is a pity that the PBS dependant form / notes do not talk at all about these documents. I'll get in touch with my property agent to get a letter from him allowing my wife to stay. + Will include marriage photographs + letter from employer (it would be a pr...

 Abhijack, I was not aware that a invite / sponsor letter needs to be sent. Which letter is this one? I did not find a mention of this in the dependant notes or anywhere else. Can you please confirm where can I find that? And yes, I have decided to apply for my wife's visa only when she has t...

push_hsmp,
I think it may be worthwhile including clause of ..... rule/policy etc for accomodation. Thanks for suggesting this.

jagacharaja, sushd, Prashjos, push_hsmp,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I will reschedule it and apply again with tenancy agreement.

Prashjos, Ideally I would have done that. but now the question is that since this (lease agreement) was not mentioned as a requirement for Tier 1 dependant, should I go ahead and submit my application (I.e. risk Rs 51K) Or reschedule the appointment which (Based on re-booking travel etc) would mean ...

jagacharaja, sushd Thanks a lot for your response. The reason I asked for the same is because my wife has an appointment with VFS early next week and all plans for her travel to Delhi and back have been confirmed. (train tickets etc booked) I had sent the documentation based on what was mentioned in...

Thanks Sushd,

I thought since Tier 1 dependant involves verification of 3 months balance etc, it would have been checked by UK BIA.
Do people in India make these verifications. I guess if that is the case, the lead time should not be much
