From personal understanding, can't see why not. If the print-out contains consistent information re acc sort code, acc no, opening and closing balances, etc, and is certified by the bank then can't see how they can reject it.

This seems to be the general observation however no one knows exactly what happens inside UKBA on this. We're still trying to gather more evidence of this

I'm not sure where you got your advice from but if you have any understanding of the British culture you will know that drink driving is a VERY serious offence. With regard to your opinion of being clean if a fine is paid, I can use the same arguments to apply to the following scenario: man goes on ...

The latest one you received should be your current one. All previous visas would have been cancelled on this one being issued. It might not show on your passport but it would show on UKBA databases

Think it says on the PC info sheet that you can get fined 6k and six months in prison for not carrying it, so they do take it seriously. They are the standard terms I think, but it'll take a few steps to get there with the first being a warning. IMO the training in this area varies greatly amongst ...

I wonder if you don't declare your absence, how would you explain the lack of landing cards during this period to certify your presence in / return to this country or am I just being dumb? Eight months unexplained absence is not an attractive property to have on your application. As sushdmehta has p...

I guess the reason they don't allow it is that it is an investment and any investment can lose its value, sometimes drastically, over time. If UKBA can figure out the details from the documents you provide then it's a no no for me. It doesn't matter how the account can be operated but the nature of ...

Depends on a number of things. Firstly when does your visa expire? I would hazard a guess at end of December / January? Secondly when will your degree ceremony be? Re: is visa rejected on surname issue ??????

IIRC Singh is not a proper surname in Sikh culture (assuming you're Sikh that is) but as real surnames are not normally disclosed to the general public in Western cultures we have accepted them (and Kaur) as surnames.

I would think that it would not be a problem, unless the caseworker is THAT stupid.

I'd think that a postal order would be more secure and eliminates the problem of you being doubly-charged. Remember this is UKBA. They're not as efficient as you might think.

They should and when you receive your SAR file, check the records carefully. They should have recorded the date of the postmark as your 'case raised' date. As long as this one's 'in time' you'll be fine. If there's a mistake then you might need to provide your postal receipts as proof that the appli...

Just to clarify, there is NO need to submit extra information. UKBA can probably gauge from your previous leaves as to what you have been up to anyway. Criminal records? They have databases readily available
