Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

Thank you for sharing this. Failing to voice our concerns through complaints or petitions is unlikely to prompt any improvement in their frequent failures and the overall deficiency of this service. The notion that 6000 ceremony attendees constitute a body of work is laughable. They were aware of t...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

I had emailed the minister office and asked for an update. sharing the response i received today. Last paragraph is interesting. Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

either they dont know how frustrating it is not being able to check the progress or they simply dont care at all. does anybody know who to contact if this is seriously delayed ? The only way to get timely answers (and I use the term answers loosely) is to raise your issue(s) with a TD and let them ...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

Its funny because my friend asked me to send him a photo with the cert. He assumed that the cert was issues during the ceremony because thats what happens in other countries. nothing justifies six weeks for a cert. I think we should raise some voice by signing a petition or something. Irish take tha...

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

I've applied back in Aug 2022 but i havent received the evetting invite that pretty much everybody have received on May 22. I sent them an email in early September asking them why and confirm my email address. They responded directly with the evetting invite. Since then i received another evetting i...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

My answer to that question was yes providing explanation along with evidence . Now that i got the evetting invitation i am curious if a...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Even that wording has recently changed from the MoJ. The citizenship department letter that came out earlier this year stated they expect to naturalise the majority of 2021/2 and 23 applicants this year. The MoJ has recently said decisions should be made on these applications by end of year, no lon...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

They won't and they never committed to it, unfortunately. Just said that these applicants are planned to be invited/are expected to be invited/etc. Our expectation is that applicants from each of the years below will be amongst those invited to citizenship ceremonies over the course of 2023. Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

I asked my solicitor this very questions when it took them 5 months to acknowledge my application and this amount of time tipped me over into 2023. He said the 19 month processing timeline starts from when they received it, not when they acknowledged it regardless of the number it's assigned. It ma...
