Still waiting... By the way Lapkapups, could I ask you which documents you did send together with your application? For EEA2 I did send only a marriage certificate, both passports, wage slips as stated on the application form (you don't have to provide more as needed, if they need it they will reque...

Hi Lapkapups, Congratulations! I can imagine that you are totally relieved now. Did you had any plans to go on holiday? Spain perhaps. I saw that you applied on the 20th of November 2007. So, that makes 7 months and 15 days? Perhaps a hint for everybody: JUST GO TO THE CROYDON OFFICE MAKE A LOT OF N...

I can't believe that we or somebody else can't do anything about it. How long has it been since you submitted the application? Have you suffered any expenses at all or financial loss because of the delay? Hi Directive. I applied begin December 2007. It has been almost 6 months now. Some of our frie...

I can't believe that we or somebody else can't do anything about it. I don't believe I will get the residence card (I applied in December) at time while some of you guys applied in October, November and are still waiting! If the six months are up (which is in about two weeks or so) I am going to hau...

I tried the enquiry line, but it takes so long to get through I mean I was waiting for almost 7 minutes and still nothing. So, then I called the North-West HO complaints department. The woman there told me that the application for the res. card for my wife was decided already and that it had been se...

The good news is that they have updated their website and currently for residence card applications and some more the applications under consideration are from January. That means for us guys that they really have decided it already. The thing is that it ...

Hey Shane,

It seems likely that the HomeOffice lost our passports when they forwarded some of the applications made from Croydon to Liverpool due to the high workload...

My God, August 2007?!!! And what is the Method of Entry questionnaire? It isn't part of the EEA forms. So, where the hell comes this from? You've send it and they've send you a letter in Februar and you're still waiting... I don't know what the hell is going on. I called them yesterday and they said...

There was a letter in the envelop which came from the Liverpool office. By the way, did the HO tell you guys whether the decission was positive or neg...

Okey, this is getting more and more interesting. As I read in your posted messages mimiki, lapkapups and copper: - Copper applied in October 2007 - Lapkapups in November 2007 - Mimiki in November 2007 - I applied in December 2007. The HO now says to all of us that the applications are decided, but t...

Okey, now it starts to become interesting. I just called with 0161 261 1117 the North-West Liverpool complaints department of the HO. They said my wifes' application for a residence card was decided and they need to sort out the papers and will send the documents very soon! Hmmm. On the website they...

You applied in october. Lapkapups, it think I'll use your tactic. I'll make a complaint to the Complaints Department of...

But can we actually do something? If we really make a joint complaint as Love-Without-Borders suggested? It is true that HO is losing their high moral ground but it does not look that they care. Besides, though in theory we are supposed to be treated on the same grounds as EU nationals in practice ...

Scimo I am from the Netherlands. I am just curious about the topic concerning EEA nationals and their rights on for example benefits. I think life in London is very expensive compared to the Netherlands or Germany (although the Euro has made EU also expensive). We are paying a lot of tax and rent he...

Love without borders... You can't even imagine it can you? Hello dear friends, I've been reading this forum (immigration for family members) for the past few days and I got red eyes of going through 57 pages! The caseworkers of the HomeOffice should read these forums and then see what kind of impac...
