Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

I applied in May 2023 and I still didn't receive approval and people who applied on October 2023 already received approval. it's very random and it's definitely not chronological and unfair process There 4000 applications applied in 2022 and before still didn't receive their approval. I applied at ...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

Maybe this will help. I am also suffering from this painful waiting period it's been 26 months, I have not received a decision on my application and then my solicitor advised me to send them a Judicial Review Notice . We sent a notice to the department on 20th March 2024 and received a reply on 29t...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

The advice re a solicitor's letter was really helpful. But should the time of processing, eg, 26 months, be measured from the date they received the application by recorded post, or the date of the acknowledgement letter, which can be as much as 4 months later? In my case they received the applicat...

I never received any confirmation email as well
Thank you for the reply. So it is not strange to not to have a confirmation email. Did you check your tracking number online to see if your eVetting disclosure is viewed and completed?

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Hello all, Sorry if i am asking this again as i didn't get any reply. I would be grateful if anyone has any insight into this: i have received both eVetting emails in May and July 2023 and proceeded with all steps online. The issue is that I have never received any confirmation email saying that the...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Yes Fred13, I am also in exact similar shoes as you. I applied in Jun/Jul 2022. Got acknowledgement in Nov 2022. Got 1st Garda vetting in May 2023 and submitted it and disclosure viewed in June 2023. Now today 8 Feb 2024, I got another e-vetting invite and saying below: --Important – If you have re...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Does anyone know when the next ceremony(-ies) might be held? I saw someone in the "2021 Timelines Only" thread suggest maybe March 2024, but I can't find anything on that on the Department website. Also, is there anything else I can or need to do at this point? My timelines are below. Thi...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

We paid fee in July but submitted in January this year, I know it’s early and there’s a backlog from previous years, but haven’t received the quarterly email either… what could be the cause? Quarterly email is sent to applicants who haven’t received decisions. If you already got approved, you won’t...

[ Have you received your acceptance letter yet? Not. I didn't. [/quote] I have a ticket on 10th and I am not sure if I am invited or not.
